“I used Elmbridge Ovens & Carpets, to have my oven cleaned, communication was easy, and quick, I had a quote in minutes, which was great value for money. Phil arrived on time, and worked hard to get the oven to, what now looks as good as new! Considering the state of it beforehand, I didn’t think it could be done. Phil was polite, wore shoe coverings, kept COVID secure, and cleaned up after himself. Excellent service, highly recommend, and will definitely use again. Thank you.”

“Nice, well taken care of room. Bed was comfortable but consisted of two single mattresses pushed together. Breakfast was good with continental buffet plus choice of English breakfast or omelette. Had a nice walk along the Thames river in the morning before my flight from Heathrow and pub across the street was good for dinner. Convenient bus service to Heathrow nearby.”

I booked through booking.com and another time on Agoda (stay away) and the latter messed up my booking but Bektas dealt with it efficiently, took me in and also gave me an upgrade because Agoda messed up the room they chose. Clean self serviced apartment. Pristine.”

“This is really a gem of a hostel right in the perfect spot of London. Located right o the Lower Marsh Market, the Walrus has very nice rooms, stunning (especially for a hostel) bathrooms, and a great/lively bar downstairs where all travelers get 10% off! Generous free breakfast is included, and the staff is very accommodating. Right next to Waterloo Station, but I really did not find the noise to be that bad at all. The upside of being so close is you can get nearly anywhere in the city (and beyond via SouthWestern/Northern Railways) right from Waterloo. I plan on returning any time I end up in London!”

“I stay here when I’m in London for work, probably averaging a night every week. It’s perfect for me, I generally stay in one of the basement rooms so there’s no windows, but as I get back late to the hotel and leave early it’s not an issue for me. The rooms are always clean and tidy, they’re comfortable and quiet and there’s always a bottle of water and soap and shampoo in the rooms. Big comfy towels and the beds comfy as well. Perfect for my business trips”

“I will definitely recommend this accommodation:) I believe here is a perfect place to live. Although it was a bit long distance from UCL, was still amazing stay in CMC. The atmosphere around here was great. I really love calm neighborhood, restaurants and small shops around here. Meryem and Iveth are super kind and helpful. They always answer my questions very quickly and try to solve issues as soon as possible. I could enjoy my life in London thanks to them and CMC. I really miss my life in here and hope I could live again haha”

“A hidden gem in a great location. I couldn’t have asked for more while up in London working. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and peaceful and the owners were on hand if needed but otherwise left you to it. They were very helpful when the internet went down (not their fault! There were works being done in the area) and even removed a rather large spider! Fresh pain au chocolat every day and Nespress coffee machine too. A really brilliant find and I’ll come again as well as recommend to my friends.”
