“Okay Grapelli you got me here with a rare 5 stars. Hands down some of the best service around, making me feel like I was back in a family run restaurant in Sicily. Food was top drawer with the pasta dishes cooked to perfection, the salads refreshing but with some real deep flavours running though and that Pistachio Brulee was something else. We were celebrating a join birthday and the team did a great job at making the evening feel a little extra special. I will be heading back soon to try a few more dishes on offer on the incredible looking menu.”

“I've had the pleasure of reviewing Hart Brown before, but that was for a different legal matter. Today I've completed the sale of my home, and the conveyancing was done by Peter Howe, with the help of Sara Evans, who helped me when Peter was away. This was a protracted transaction, and frustrating. Peter was both sympathetic and realistic. We got there in the end and Peter was kind and helpful throughout, making sure I understood my legal obligations and rights. Both Peter and Sara put themselves out to help the process along. Indeed, Peter made himself late for a family gathering in order to seal the exchange of contracts. The fees were very fair for a sale that took such a long time. “I recently tried this biryani in tapori which is located in Cobham and was genuinely impressed. The moment I opened the container, the aroma of freshly ground spices hit me—warm, rich, and absolutely irresistible. The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain separate and infused with flavour, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. Portion sizes were generous, definitely worth the price. The biryani came with raita and salan, both fresh and complementary without overpowering the main dish. What stood out most was the balance of spices—flavourful without being overwhelmingly hot. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was neatly packed with no mess or leakage, which I really appreciate for takeaways. Overall, an excellent biryani experience. If you’re craving authentic, aromatic, and satisfying biryani, this place is absolutely worth trying. Highly recommended!”

“I have been with NFU Mutual Cobham for a number of years and gradually moved all our insurance needs to them. Lauren is my point person and is always very efficient be it doing the annual review of our needs or most recently adding a temporary driver to our car insurance for a week. Great service and good prices too for both house and car insurance.”

“I recently stayed at Ramada Cobham M25, and overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. The location is very convenient, right off the motorway, making it ideal for travelers needing a stopover. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered good value for money. The beds were comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent considering its proximity to the M25. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The on-site amenities, including the restaurant and bar, were handy for a short stay, though the food options could be a little more varied. Parking was ample and secure, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s a reliable and budget-friendly choice if you’re looking for a convenient stop near the motorway.”

“I've been to a few Nandos and this is one of the best. A whole chicken was shared between two adults, with four sides, and this almost defeated us in terms of quantity as well as quality. It was a great meal of succulent chicken, with sides on a par with the main dish - they were absolutely smashing - rainbow slaw, grains with green beans & butternut squash and tender stem broccoli. Absolutely yummy, thank you - and in a motorway service station food hall too, which doesn't necessarily scream "quality". (A huge takeaway order had been received and I couldn't help but ask to take a photo of the 24 half chicken order being prepared). Thanks to the Boss and kitchen staff for obliging me.”

“I remember the Reigate branch of the Art of Living back in the 1970s. A tiny shop crammed with well designed and beautiful essentials for the kitchen. Fast forward and now looking online for a good quality frying pan for my daughter’s 30th birthday, I found a good priced Le Creuset on the Art of Living website. What a great job this company has done in establishing an online presence without losing the personal touch. I was able to speak to the actual person in the warehouse who would drive the product to the shop closest to me, and when I got there the shop manager was SO informed and helpful with her advice that I ended up buying a different le creuset sauté pan. Daughter thrilled. If only all shopping could be like this .”
