Tony and team were very accommodating as we had a change of numbers The food was good - wish I had the fish instead as the people who had it finished them super quick! The trillionaire tart was fantastic! I wish I had my own portion but the main plate was so big I didn't have room!”

“I was so lucky to be able to share in Tom and Laura's wedding celebrations on 20 September, not just because I love Tom & Laura, but because I also got to participate in The King's Head culinary experience ! And what a treat it was.... the inspiring variety of food, all cooked to perfection, all beautifully presented, all immaculately timed and served hot (which is always a challenge with a large event) and all devoured with relish and many compliments. The staff were super friendly, helpful and polite - around, without being intrusive...the outside space was lovely and later in the evening the back room changed from being an entrancing restaurant into a nightclub!!!!! What more do you need? A perfect day!! Well done....”

A special thanks to Kay, who went above and beyond to find an alternative antibiotic for my 4-year-old when the original wasn’t in stock. Despite it being a busy bank holiday, he patiently explained the options and spent over 30 minutes on hold to speak with the doctor and arrange a new prescription. Truly an exceptional pharmacist and person, I can’t thank him enough!”

“After many years away, we returned to what was once our local! Lovely service and delicious menu options. We went early (5pm) and might go later next time or for lunch to avoid the numerous families with small noisy kids who came in after us. It got pretty frenetic.”

“We were staying at a local hotel for a wedding and stumbled across this cafe whilst looking for somewhere to have breakfast. The atmosphere when you enter is lovely, as are the views of trays and counters of freshly made desserts, cake and pastries. The smell was amazing! Whilst small, there is quite a bit of seating for couples pr small groups aswell as outside for those wanting more space or with pups. The service was great- staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We barely waited for our food and the toasted clubs sandwiches we received were the best we'd ever had. Huge, freshly made, packed with filling and beautifully presented. We then selected some pastries to take away with us - huge selection and hard to choose! The staff helped us, although items were clearly labelled which was great, and were happy to box bits up. It is slightly on the pricey side, as expected for the portion sizes, but it felt like reasonable value for fresh and homemade pieces of such size and I did not leave feeling ripped off. It was a very pleasant experience and I would visit again if in the area.”

Price very good. Green smoothie also delicious and a carafe of tap water with ice and lemon means I am still in here and will be back!”

“Such a cool brand! I bought the most amazing dress for a red carpet event which everyone stopped me to compliment me on and I felt amazing in it. Most of my Ibiza wardrobe was from wonderlust too! I also have loads of bits for cool daywear. Quality clothing, great fit, lovely staff and beautiful stores. I love that it’s an independently ran store with unique items you won’t get elsewhere. “Delicious Martinis Magic Mushrooms Pancake and a flat white which was delicious. Looking forward to when they open the Deli/Cafe properly. Took a couple of slices of Banana Bread home for my wife and myself,which was good. I’m not keen on the paper cups and plates etc,but the quality more than makes up for it.”

“The front and back of house teams here, are excellent. Service is always good no matter who is at the front or how busy it is. The hot food is always cooked consistently (this may sound like an underwhelming compliment, but it’s not!) and comes out from the kitchen promptly. The quality of suppliers used is also a major plus, especially regarding the meat and cakes. Pastries, croissants etc. are fine, but cakes are the standout. The sausage sandwich and carrot cake never miss, we now come here for weekend breakfast baps, as they are better than what we make at home. Keep up the good work, very happy to have this place in my neighbourhood.”

“I use Bills to send parcels most days - some of these parcels are huge and annoying to keep in a smallish shop. The three guys who work there and take in all my boxes have always been kind, polite and helpful. I’ve never had any problems with them - even when I’m bringing in huge amounts of parcels. They have always been lovely to me.”
