Before I knew it, my my fairly weathered brogues which I had removed to try on a pair of smart Alfreds were whisked away, polished and returned looking like new. Apparently this is part of the service as explained by Carina. In the meantime, Jack took time to find the perfect fit from the many variants available and I walked out with my new shoes a satisfied customer. I cannot recommend this store highly enough. Service like this is from a bygone era.”

Over the two days I learnt the basics on pattern cutting, how to choose your leather, sewing (machine and by hand) and constructing my bag, from reinforcing, to burnishing etc. On top of that, Natasha was very knowledgeable and great company throughout and I walked out with a beautiful personalised bag! Would highly recommend (also makes for a great gift experience)”
