“Lovely pasta with tomatoe sauce. Very friendly Staff. Service was very good when it was very busy. Pasta arrived within 10 mins,and was very hot. Nice cold 7up free with nice clean glass. Spoke to Manager,and told him restaurant was run brilliant,and to keep up the good work 10/10. He was very happy,and offered me a free strawberry ice cream. Good karma is always rewarded.”

“I went here a couple of days ago and took the risk after all the bad reviews(only 1 time risk). But now maybe it has changed owners and it's better now? As it looked like only 1 chinese guy was working there who spoke perfect English and I didn't see anyone else in sight. But anyways what i ordered was delicious which was roast duck with bbq sauce on egg fried rice.”

“We hosted our daughter’s 1st Birthday party in the Star’s private function room (a beautiful room). Elle did a fantastic job and ensured that the day ran smoothly! I had a lot of specific asks and requests and Elle did a great job in fulfilling them. Communication from booking to the event itself was great. On the day Elle pre-empted all our needs, the chef was great, food was lovely and the service from the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back for the next big celebration!”

“2020 hasn't been a great year for restaurants (ain't that an understatement) but if you want an outstanding sushi experience at home then you really must try Komakai. You won't find better sushi in London. Seriously. Great quality ingredients and clearly a talented chef. If you're missing those nights out in London then definitely give Komakai a go. Can't recommend highly enough. 5 stars”

“Food Service and Atmosphere are not enough words to describe how happy I am when eating at Coast. The venue is lovely the food is fresh, succulent and mouth watering with their own twist in every dish (who knew pomegranate went so well with a breakfast). They are just so friendly and welcoming I would suggest walking in when you’re local.”

“The food is impeccable. Every time we try a different food on the menu and it is always delicious. Although everything is amazing, the lamb chops and chicken wings need a special shout out. Definitely the best in south london. The staff is always lovely and friendly. Nice music, great atmosphere. Overall it is a must visit.”

“What a lovely old school Italian restaurant that is reminiscent of how original family restaurants were years ago. Staff are so welcoming in true Italian fashion from the moment you enter, and I have never been asked anywhere so fast if I want a drink! All food that comes out of their kitchen is cooked fresh and with heaps of love - the salmon and crab duo starter kicks the flavours off, and the scallops are big, fresh and cooked in an eclectic harmony of flavours of wine, cream and stock. Even the accompanying rice is firm, meaty and also cooked in the same. Meal for three and with bread, wine, water and service under £150 which is pretty reasonable for all what we had.”

“A brilliant hidden gem! If you love fantastic food with brilliant service this is a must visit. Plenty of choice of mains and desserts. Would especially recommend the pizza, lamb or pork belly and the creme brulee”

“Came in on a Friday for dj Dan, amazing atmosphere great dj. Staff were very good, definitely recons the festive bake nice cheap and good! Sonny served me on floor and bar was great service would definitely come again!”

“This is a traditional Micro pub in the pure sense as it only serves real beers tapped straight out of the barrel. They also do a selection of wines, ciders and some ready mixed spirits. If you want to drink a glass full of fizzy water full of chemicals (lager) then this isn't the place for you. If however you would like to try out some of the incredible variety of British beers (some better than others depending on your personal taste), this is the place to go. A Micro pub as opposed to a micro bar”

“We stopped here for a spot of dinner and we were very impressed. The restaurant was very quiet but it was early evening, and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was good and value for money. There are alcoholic and soft drinks available and an extensive menu The restaurant is clean and modern and the staff Very friendly and helpful.”

“We went here to celebrate the end of the school term and we had a great time, we come here regularly so they gave us free chicken wings. Overall great experience, 10/10”

“Genuine restaurant with high standard service and manners. I went in to pay in advance for a large meal and announced I will be back later to pick it up. The staff member was most kind in helping me put together the order as I wanted it. Furthermore, I was late to return and pick up the order and in the meantime the restaurant had closed. The staff member were so dedicated that they had left my order with the next door shop and a note to pick it up. BTW, it was beautifully packed and still hot. Huge thanks to you all and to the guy next doors who immediately brought the order when he saw me outside.”

“30 plus of us go here every month as they have tribute singers. It is a set 5 course menu and generally a great evening Book early though”

“Really good kebab shop, meat is always cooked perfectly, decent portion sizes. I have never had a bad kebab from here, its reliable, consistent and always open!”

“Dine-in Experience The interior was simple but clean, and the staff provided excellent and attentive service. I shared the Teriyaki Salmon Noodles and sushi with my son. The Teriyaki Salmon Noodles were topped with plenty of salmon and were very filling. We thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The sushi was also carefully prepared and tasted delicious. Additionally, the bathroom was clean, which was a big plus. I would definitely love to come back again!”

“I've had the opportunity to try nearly everything on the menu over the years and confidently say that the food provided is of the highest quality, whether eat in or take away. The staff and super friendly and cater to all our needs when we dine in. The food, especially anything of the 'Firecracker' name is extremely delicious (but bear in mind the Firecracker noodles/rice is probably the most spiciest on the menu). I can't get enough of the chicken Gao Bao buns and even now, my mouth is watering thinking of it! Highly recommend!”
