“Came into the store to get cat food that the vets told me to get for my cat, James and Aaron were very helpful and friendly which made my shopping experience great. From their reception staff who always make you feel welcome and offer great help and advice where they can to their amazing vets. One of my dogs who is very nervous and reactive was unwell recently and their head vet Adele was so amazing with her, I couldn’t believe it. It’s so nice to have a practice who genuinely care about the welfare of your pet and understand that they’re family. I wouldn’t want my pets to go anywhere else. The manager took the time out to cancel an online order for us so that we could repurchase everything we needed to take our little guy home with us immediately. They took the care to talk us through everything we needed and ensured we were equipped enough. Our hamster is happy, healthy and we love having him. Thank you!”

“The best Pets at Home we’ve been to - have been so helpful during the process of settling in our Chi pup. The staff are so knowledgable and really do go the extra mile, they always remind me to check Pets Club vouchers etc and have even saved me a few times when I almost accidentally bought adult dog food instead of puppy food. I haven’t tried the grooming service however so can’t comment on it.”

“A great vet practice. Always a welcoming bunch on arrival, and every vet seen to date, seems to really put the pet first. It’s easy to book appointments, and if ever I’ve had to change appointments, they’re always happy to assist. I just wished my GP treated me the same way. Lol”

“Has most of the items you would need for various pets. I have a ball python and the staff an knowledgeable about them and have the frozen rats i need for food. Staff all seem like genuine pet lovers/animal lovers which goes a long way in these kind of stores. Shoped here for many years for dog/snake/guinea pigs. Always helpfull.”

“Bought 6 ember tetras here about a month ago. Despite it being nearly closing time, the staff were ever so helpful and friendly. They also showed genuine care for the fishes - they ensured that I had a fully matured fish tank of reasonable size and setting. They also gave me recommendations on where I could get good Indian Almond Leaves to manage the pH. I also saw them reject an inexperienced customer who wanted to keep fishes in a fish bowl (the fish will likely suffer), and for that, I highly respect them. The ember tetras are doing well - sorry for the algae-stained glass in the very bad picture!”

“This was the first time that I visited this pet shop as it was recommended to me. I went in to purchase a pair of goldfish as I had recently lost my own fish. The young gentleman that helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the fish that I purchased and made the whole experience a very positive one. “few weeks ago, I visited Pets at Home in Chingford with my daughter to purchase her first goldfish. At the till, we asked for some assistance and were told someone would be called. After waiting a while and asking again, the colleague kindly radioed a second time, but we were still waiting. I then decided to look for help myself and came across a staff member named Amy, who was putting stock out. The moment I asked, she immediately stopped what she was doing and offered to help us without hesitation. From start to finish, Amy was absolutely fantastic – she was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. It’s rare nowadays to come across someone who truly takes pride in their work, but Amy is one of those people. She is a real credit to the Chingford branch and to Pets at Home as a company. I really hope she is recognised and celebrated for her outstanding work ethic and customer care. Since that visit, every time we return, we make sure to see Amy – she has been phenomenal each time.”
