“We popped in to look at some soft furnishings after previously visiting and having a very happy experience about two years ago.. So thinking we’d have a look about which we did only for the staff to recognise us (from 2 years previously) and be aware of what we had purchased and where we were from.. absolutely outstanding service, the owner should be very very happy with his staff. The service we always receive is second to none. So to be recognised from a previous purchase is fantastic.. Btw the furniture we purchased is still as new… So no need to go to the big furniture companies and be a number, just visit The London Road Furniture Company and feel as an individual and very valued.. “We had purchased 3x HAG Capisco 8106 chairs (2 for the study and 1 for office) from Back in Action and had them shipped to Hong Kong. My husband and I spend material time gaming when we're not working so chair comfort is a priority. We were looking to replace the HM-Setu chairs with the Capisco since my husband felt the Setu was cutting off the circulation in his leg. With the exchange rate at the time of purchase, the price of 3 Capiscos + shipping were the same as buying 2 in Hong Kong (and the Hong Kong shop didn't allow us to place an order with our color/fabric specs which was pretty pointless). Kuvesh was so kind to ensure all our specifications were met and looked after the logistics so that the chairs arrived promptly and seamlessly delivered to HK once manufactured. So if you're from abroad and there's a price differential, I would definitely encourage you to enquire if Back in Action can ship to you, especially the price differential is in your favour. I would also advise you to look directly at kvadrat's website for details on fabric choice - the chair is not cheap so you need to love every part of it! Attaching photo of how the pair looks in our study. For reference, we chose the Razzle Dazzle fabric in 0236. Snorlex not included with the chair of course :)”

“One of the best Hamptons I’ve stayed in. Our king room had a small desk and a proper shower with a door (it’s rare you see doors nowadays). Gary at the front desk and his team were so friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was spotless. Our week long stay was very comfortable!”

“Stay here a few times, for the value you seriously can't fault Mama Shelter. Always very welcoming and the rooms and furnished to a high standard and always clean. Some nice extras and great breakfast. The restaurant downstairs is super tasty and offers a unique room service/pick-up system. If you stay at The Hoxton, Mama Shelter gives a similar feel (same group) - location is ok but not the best.”

“The ladies on reception are incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Mika (think that is her name!). Location excellent with the Underground Station next door and several bus routes stop outside. Have stayed here several times and just sorry that it is to close down in June 2026”

“We have been using DSL for nearly 10 years and are the only place we go for our kitchens and wardrobes. We develop high end flats in SW London and the service we receive from start to finish is top notch. The designer integrates seamlessly with our site team to co-ordinate drawings and surveys. We're always kept up to date with delivery and install dates, the install team are quick and efficient and work with us if there are any unforeseen issues on site. The estate agents use our flats as the benchmark to show other developers what they should be doing to be competitive, and the kitchen is key to that. The quality of the kitchens is so good, I have one in my house!”

“Stayed here for several days on a trip to London. All the staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The room itself was very fresh, clean and had a good amount of space. We had twin beds, a small table and chair set, an opening window, TV, small area to hang and store clothes, plus the bathroom. There was also air conditioning in the room, and it wasn't the most powerful but a welcomed addition. We had the breakfast, cooked breakfast and cold items like cereal and fruit were there. Not a massive selection, but enough to keep you going for the day going forward. Hotel felt safe as well. The hotel has great access to bus stops, virtually outside the door which can help you get around the area or down to the train/tube station. Although the walk to Richmond town is not far if you are able to do the walk.”

“If you haven't checked this shop yet.....I highly recommend you do. The people are very polite and happy to help. Very competitive and affordable prices. I bought a new bed with a mattress, which is very good quality, especially the mattress... very firm, just how I like it because I suffer with back pain, and hopefully, this will help. Also, the boys assembled the bed in no time at all and made it sure that I was happy with my purchase. “Don't let the negative reviews put you off booking. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the 'Premier Plus' rooms, it was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and all the staff were really nice and helpful. We ordered breakfast, which is served in the pub (The Winning Post), which is on the side of the building. It was amazing; there was plenty of choice (even as a vegetarian), and the cooked breakfast was made to order. Again, all the Staff were sociable and friendly. We will definitely be back.”

“I had a wonderful stay at Premier Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept very well. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The hotel is also in a great location, close to transport and local attractions. Overall, excellent value for money. “Sofa & More was one of that rare amazing companies I've dealt with in a long time. I recently ordered 10 pieces of bespoke furniture from them for my new flat. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with them. Sales assistants were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped guide us with our designs and materials with their competent in-house designers, including with home visits. But what was most amazing was their 'can do attitude' where almost nothing was impossible. As a result, they produced a unique collection of furniture to our exact requirement in the highest possible quality and comfort. “Having done a few upholstery classes and understanding a little more about what’s possible, I contacted Sharon at Vintique to discuss reformatting my old Multiyork sofa. Her amazing communication skills and ‘can do’ attitude were such a contrast to other upholsterers I had used. My scribbled diagram of my old long sofa quickly became a plan to completely change it into an ‘L’ shaped sofa with the addition of a bespoke built corner piece. Sharon did a video call with me to see the space so she could start to suggest fabrics and colours - and patiently sent me so many samples until we got on the perfect scheme. The finished sofa is a triumph and I unreservedly recommend her to anyone thinking of reupholstering a cherished piece of furniture.”

Then a smaller room with a difficult stairs support they needed to cover up, it looks amazing and you would not know it was there.
