“Great Indian curry house in Guildford. They serve excellent Sunday Buffet with good choices to choose from. Samosa and onion bhaji were an excellent choice from their starter options. Madras chicken curry and lamp curry with Naan were my favourites. They do also have vegetarian options and serve basmati rice. Overall an excellent choice for a family dine out for any memorable occasion.”

“Finally, we had the chance to dine at Ida Restaurant in North London. The place is always fully booked, and now I understand why. The restaurant is very cosy, with an old-style Italian vibe that embraces you as soon as you walk in. The staff are warm, polite and gentle. The chef is super cool, Alessandro, from Rome, supported by Alessia on the starter and dessert section. We had a very good bruschetta with mozzarella and anchovies, and then the main act: the PASTA!!! Absolutely divine. We tried the pappardelle with wild boar, the tagliatelle ragù Marchigiano, and because it was so good, we also tried the pappardelle with duck ragù. What can I say? Fresh pasta, beautiful and fresh ingredients, the result can only be top-quality food. We also tried the dessert of the day, a crostata with crème pâtissière and berry coulis, and it was delicious. The front of house was absolutely fantastic. Fiammetta and Gina made us feel instantly welcome with their warmth and professionalism. We’d really like to thank all them for making our evening so special. We will definitely go back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Had a pleasant dinner with the family at Bandol ! We were a group of 8 and decided to order a selection of starters to share. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. From Octopus, to squid ink risotto and the beetroot salad, each dish was tasty and unique ! For the mains we had the fillet steak, lobster and crab Tortellini and the lavender duck breast among other dishes. Overall a great evening out. Thoroughly enjoyed !”

“Best takeaway in Croydon, bar none. I've been a regular customer since the mid 1990s. The wife and I love the combination of special fried rice, sweet and sour pork balls, king prawn curry, fried shredded beef with carrots and prawn crackers. The best set dinner for two is option A.”

“Canary Wharf branch: Food: I bought the mixed mezze box with flatbread to take away, it was absolutely delish, especially the baba ganoush and the red rice (?) with aubergine. My least favourite was the hummus and I think this is because it was really cold in the fridge. Service: I went a couple of minutes before closing and the man serving me was patient and told me to take my time whilst I decided what I wanted to eat. He even helped me place my order and was overall very friendly. Great customer service.”

“5 stars for taste and quality. Probably the best moussaka in the UK. An unexpected surprise, made with fresh ingredients balanced spices and cooked to perfection. Tasty charcoal cooked souvlaki, Juicy and tender. Clean place with good space between tables. Large seating area. Joyful deco. The shop is not perfect, there are a lot of dishes on the menu that were not available, but it has huge potential to become one of the best restaurants in the area, especially now with the new chef who has huge experience in Greek cuisine. Definitely needs a visit.”

Literally all the dishes we tried were exceptional in taste and generous in portions. We have been offered a typical greek dessert. Prices are very contained, expecially with reference to quality. “In summary, I had my birthday party here on Saturday. The staff were so kind, welcoming and charming, and they could not do enough for us. We were there from the afternoon until the evening, so we ended up having some food which we enjoyed very much. Another reviewer said that their chicken burger was dry and I did not have that experience at all. And I'm someone that rarely orders chicken when I'm out because of the amount of times I've had bad experiences with dry, bland chicken. I am happy to report that the chicken in my burger was well-seasoned, moist and succulent, and you could tell the meat was of good quality. I think it might even have been thigh meat, it was that moist, which was a rare pleasure in a chicken burger where you normally get served a piece of breast (and breast can so easily dry out)! Not the case here. My husband had a pork belly dish which he found to be delicious, so much so that he returned the following day to sample their roast dinner. My one note is that the draught beer was unpleasantly bitter and I could not finish either of the half pints I bought (and I opted for a different beer each time so it wasn't a question of my not liking the beer I'd chosen); maybe they need to have a look at their pumps or something. But otherwise, it was a PERFECT day. And once again, I would like to reiterate that the staff were charming. The guy that helped me over the phone and via text when I made the booking was so helpful and communicated well. He kept me abreast of changes and was keen to ensure I was happy with the space I had been given; he even sent me a picture. And when we got there on the day, they were so personable and kind. They create a really special atmosphere, those staff, and they deserve a lot of credit for that.”
