“As a visitor to the area, I called the out-of-hours number on Saturday morning. My call was answered within one minute and I was given an appointment within the hour. I was seen early by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, who listened to my problem, asked relevant questions, offers appropriate advice and support, with suggestions for follow-up action. She was empathetic, friendly and informative. Excellent service!”

“I can't recall meeting a kinder more caring GP, without exception or exaggeration. Dr Qureshi didn't just listen to me, I honestly felt heard, which is different, and cannot be underestimated. She was very easy to talk to. It was very clear to me that Dr Qureshi took an interest in my symptoms, as she asked me relevant follow-up questions. She was very reassuring and gave me lots of very helpful advice. She was so genuinely caring and addressed my concerns very thoroughly and knowledgeably. What really stood out though, was that despite the immense time pressures on GPs these days, at no point whatsoever did I feel rushed at all, not one iota. I was very worried and anxious about my symptoms before my appt, but came away from the consultation feeling so much more positive and hopeful. This was solely down to Dr Qureshi and her exceptional manner. There's hope yet for the NHS! :)”

“Incredibly helpful over the phone and in person arranging prescription and then pick up from outside the pharmacy when suffering from Covid. Cannot say enough how helpful it is to be able to ring up without some call centre and have the phone answered (doesn't happen with all pharmacies) and then for them to actually sort everything out for you. And it was sorted quickly too. Big thank you.”

“I required a car/taxi to take me to Sandown Park. A short distance, but needed to get there quickly to meet friends. Gary arrived about 5 minutes later and we had a good chat. Very friendly and what excellent service. Maybe lucky he was available, but isn't that the same for all travel?? Would certainly recommend and use again.”

“8/10/25: I am a local and I like this Tesco. Staff work hard, the older gentleman on the door (security) is always polite and charming and they have a good range of products both fresh and discounted. In 2025, I understand it is easy to get annoyed and frustrated quickly at certain things including the giant corporation that is Tesco, but the workers are working hard and giving it their best in my humble opinion. Evri: I can see lots of negative feedback on Evri from this branch. Today I sent a parcel from there - I did print the label myself at home, I strongly recommend doing this to avoid the dreaded printer not working. I also saw a woman picking up a package. I don’t know if this is a push on their part to be better or whether the staff turn off Evri scanner and printer in busy periods/instructed to by management but again, be polite, print your own label and hopefully this will help. The guy on the counter at 5pm was very polite and helpful. Thanks for reading.”

“I accidentally called thinking this was a pharmacy, not a head office. Having spent an entire day trying to find my medication in stock, I was unsuccessful once again (global shortage). Why is this review 5 stars? Because the person I spoke with on the switchboard, approx 1600 on Friday 17th, was utterly brilliant. They tried everything they could to help, and were a joy to speak with. Whoever they are, please pass on my sincere thanks.”

“AMAZING SERVICE - WENT OVER AND ABOVE!! I had an emergency yesterday and desperately needed to get insulin for my mum. Tesco was the only pharmacy that had it, there were complications with the 111 prescription that had been put through. "Nahar" was beyond helpful, she went over and above and I feel very lucky that she was on duty yesterday. Thank you so so much !! wishing you all the best for the future !”
