“I first found Spaghetti House after playing football across the street in Tufnell Park a few years ago, by accident really. What I found with my Dad was an absolute gem of a restaurant. They have a good variety of options food-wise. I usually go for the Pizza, but the Pasta, Calzone and Meat dishes are all good options too. Prices for these meals usually vary between £8-15, so fantastic value. The beers and wine are reasonably priced too. Despite being part of a chain, I have to say that that is not the vibe you get at all in this restaurant. It is homely, owned (at least in part I believe?) by the staff and a hugely relaxing setting to eat in. The food is great, the prices are very good, but the best part of Spaghetti House is without question the service. You are always greeted with a smile, a handshake, and if you're lucky perhaps even a free shot at the end. The restaurant is just opposite the Tufnell Park Dome, which does quite a few gigs around the year. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend popping into the Spaghetti House for a fantastic meal!”

“Coffee Break feels like it hasn't moved forward from 2005, but in the best way possible. The decor is full of black and white photos of old movie stars (Charlie Chaplin, Marylin Monroe, James Dean, etc) and the corner television was running 90's music videos the entire time I had my breakfast. And the breakfast- It was beautiful. I ordered a Small English Breakfast and the portions were exactly what I needed. Don't worry, they also had a Full English. But the Small was a single egg, sausage, 2 bacon, a perfectly fried hashbrown, beans, and toast. For someone like me who loves English Breakfast but would like to move at some point later in the same day this was a great set. The service here was wonderful as well. My own plate came out perfectly but when a table nearby had a cheeseburger come out with less cheese than expected the reply from the waitress was simply, "of course, no worries, more cheese" and more cheese was added (as well as the requisite sauces). The Mediterranean and special fares are also worth trying out. The special is a Lentil Soup as I write and it smells wonderful. Overall a perfect spot just off the main road in Wood Green, and perfect for breakfast and lunch in a much quieter spot than trying more popular cafes down the high street.”

“A great premierrr inn, a stable hotel with high cleanliness and attentive staff. The location is great, 10 minute walk from the train station, close the supermarkets (Sainsbury’s across the road). “I had a great stay at the Premier Inn Hub in Farringdon. The location is excellent — just a short walk from Farringdon Station and surrounded by great cafés, restaurants, and bars. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well-designed for a city stay. “Little bit quirky, but of all the hotels I've stayed in this area, this is my favourite by far. The only downside was the breakfast if you are vegetarian/vegan. No non dairy yogurts and the lovely chef had to bake me a couple vegan croissants. No labels on anything so had to guess whether they were vegan or not. Obvs of you don't care then not a problem!!”

The front of house service is polite and efficient, the star is the food and it shines. The entire menu looks excellent. We had the homemade Ragu, homemade pasta, it was superb. We also ordered a picannte pizza which was expertly made, like you'd eat in Napoli. We also shared zucchini fritti and a side salad which were both well done. Simple, good food.
