“I’ve been here 2016, 2018 and 2024. It’s infamous for good reason. The authenticity has not changed. If anything it’s got better. The no frills let the food do the talking style is what makes this place special. Oh and the unbeatable sunset view over the old town is a must see. Have to give a big commendation to the staff Alin, Alex and Samar. From the moment I arrived I was handled with care and kindness. The attentive friendly service settled me into a lovely send off note for my trip 2024 to this magical island. Going to this venue is a ritual for me and should be for anyone wanting the freshest seafood grilled with a nice drop of blanco vino and quintessential sunset views.”

“I had tried to drop off of 3 parcels for UPS pickup at a place in Addlestone but i didn't trust the assistant as i didn't receive an email or sms receipt. I took my parcels back from them and called around and found JK Beers and wines. I spoke to Santosh who understood my situation and was able to checkin my parcels remotely to show me that sms or email receipts should be received which they were. I didn't mind driving 13 miles to JK Beers and wines the next morning to drop my parcels off because of the great service Santosh afforded me. He was proactive, honest and helpful - taking time to explain how the ups process is supposed to work. Santosh is great. PLEASE USE JK BEERS AND WINE FOR YOUR PARCEL DROP OFF, THEYRE FAB! “Popped in here for some lunch. They aren't doing food yet but are in the process of upgrading the pub and updating the kitchen for food. The staff there were so friendly, the guiness is superb and the pool tables are fab. So if you want a pint and a game of pool, I'm not sure you'd find a friendlier pub to do that in. Yes it's old fashioned but old fashioned in a good way. A pub like pubs used to be!”

“We had a 60th birthday here and can honestly say it was amazing! David the owner was fantastic and really attentive. The price was really good & the DJ is included in the price! They provide a a balloon arch, lighting, decorations and you can bring your own food which definitely saves some money! Would absolutely recommend this venue for an event. We set up the morning of and they cleared the decorations for us the next day. We also had the outside terrace just for our party which was a great bonus!”
