“Wedding venue We got married at the Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond on the 18th of October and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. We chose the winter wedding package, and everything from start to finish was beautifully organised. Laure was absolutely wonderful – calm, patient, and so responsive throughout the whole planning process. She explained everything clearly, gave fantastic advice, and it was lovely to have her there on the day with her calm, kind and reassuring manner. The venue looked stunning, with the room very professionally set up and the riverside location providing a beautiful backdrop. The food was exceptional – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly the whole day ran. The fire pit, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were the perfect added touches for an autumn wedding. A huge thank you to Laure, Sherry, and the entire team at the Bingham Riverhouse for making our wedding day so special. Everything was flawless, and we’ll remember the day for years to come. “I had an excellent experience at Matsuba in Richmond. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt calm, elegant, and welcoming — exactly what I expect from a proper Japanese restaurant. The service stood out immediately. The staff were attentive, polite, and efficient without ever feeling intrusive. I felt genuinely looked after the entire time. The food was outstanding. Every dish was fresh, balanced, and full of clean, precise flavours. You can tell the chefs know what they’re doing — the sushi was perfectly prepared, the hot dishes were rich and comforting, and everything arrived beautifully presented. It’s rare to find this level of consistency. Overall, I left impressed and fully satisfied. Matsuba delivered quality, service, and atmosphere at a very high level. I’ll definitely return.”

“Lovely little cafe with delicious food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and constantly made sure we were looked after. We sat in front of the small kitchen area and watched the chef make our meals. A nice experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes which were generous in portions. We completed our brunch with a slice of carrot cake. It was moist and was the least sickly sweet carrot cake I've had so far. Probably the best carrot cake I've ever had. I'd definitely come back again.”

“the views from the cafe are beautiful and very peaceful! the prices were reasonable and there was plenty of seating so we were able to sit outside and take in the view in the lovely weather! the cake was delicious and service was fast. it is only a short walk from the nearby car park and is close to King Henry's Mound! will definitely be returning. :)”

“A decent pub, I liked it. Probably because of its proximity to the park, the pub was crowded on Sunday, with as many dogs as people. I was also with my dog, so the atmosphere was pleasant. My friends and I sat by the fireplace with a fire, and in the hall, there was a faint smell of smoke, and the dull crackling of logs in the fire could be heard. The Sunday roast was delicious. I liked the half chicken, though the potatoes weren't tasty. The cider is the best you can get, Aspal. A wonderful Sunday before Christmas. I recommend that you visit here too.”

“Visited this pub for lunch yesterday with a 4 day old baby - the two ladies serving were very welcoming and friendly. Table service was great from the moment we sat down and after scouring the menu, we both ordered the New Inn Burger - 5* burger in my opinion, the quality of meat and the cook was excellent. Hats off to the chef! Will definitely be returning.”

“We had the most fantastic service from all of the team especially Usha who was wonderful in helping with a few challenges as our daughter and partner were delayed in traffic. They transformed what could have been a stressful time into a lovely family occasion. Food quality was lovely and a perfect spacious setting and atmosphere to have a large group together. Would very highly recommend, we a great Sunday afternoon there. A special thank you to Usha for being so flexible, friendly and going above and beyond for us!!”

“We’ve visit The Britannia several times over the past few years (every time we visited Richmond) and the experience was great every single time. On our most recent visit we tried the cheese soufflé, the fish and chip and the turbot. Every dish was delicious, fish on both mains was cooked to perfection, service was friendly and courteous. Wine list is great as well. Highly recommend for a great night out and exceptional food experience.”

“The home of English Rugby, I still went in. The Sun Inn is a glorious Richmond pub with plenty of rugby pictures and trinkets. Good selection of both cask and keg beers on offer. Great service from the island bar courtesy of the wonderful staff. Love the famous picture of Fran Cotton just after his bath! Super pub!”

“This is a nice neighbourhood salon with easy parking on the side road. I normally do my waxing in the City by work but decided to find somewhere closer to home. Bing did a great job with the bikini waxing and surprisingly, no swelling or sensitivity afterwards. I am a waxing snob and found her to be quick, friendly, thorough and professional. And the prices were very reasonable as well. Well recommended and will make her a monthly visit going forward. Adding one more service which I really like of hers which is her eyelash extensions I started getting them a few years ago and really like them she does a good job and understands what you need. I don’t like heavy lashes. I like wispy lashes so I got wispy lovely natural looking lashes. Highly recommend her !”

I had a scalp sensitivity after covid and Theresa was delicate and considerate. I love my hair cut and I look forward to going back.”

“A diamond in Richmond. It's an old house based hotel renieuwd. Loverly employees how makes everything possible and make you feel home. Good room, nice breakfast en lovely dinner in the restaurant as well as the cafeteria. Delicious lins soup. They still working on the hotel. They're making it nicer, if this is possible.”
