“We held our work Christmas Party here last night (38 people!). I can't say enough good things about it. From the whole booking process through to the brilliant service on the night, the team at TD&H did an exceptional job. The food was delicious and came out perfectly timed (not easy with a party of 38), the drinks never stopped flowing, there were plenty of staff to look after us and (icing on the cake) there was great live entertainment after the meal, which meant we felt like it was a proper party. Thanks so much to the team - we are really grateful for a wonderful evening.”

“Lovely atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Food was delicious and the wait time was very reasonable we didnt even feel like we were waiting. We were served by some really lovely ladies who made us feel very comfortable. There was a live singer while we were there which was exciting. Everything on the menu is halal and they were happy to serve me a mocktail version of any of the drinks on the menu!”

“Really good food and perhaps the best jerk chicken I had in my life. The prices are quite reasonable and can be seen online. The only downside is their service is really really slow and it took us 45 mins to be served out food and it was missing the sauces and sides when it was served to us. Still a five star since the food was so good and the decoration was really well thought out.”

“Unbelievable food! Proper home cooked meal for good value 100% will be back for some winter grub. Good choice of drinks, wine glasses aren’t the best if you’re a wine glass snob like me but other than that can’t complain at all. Really nice pub we will be back. Staff are really friendly but had to ask twice for the bill and still ended up paying at the bar. Only negative to say.”

Located on the High Road, this charming spot has been a local favorite since 1985, and it’s clear why. The vibe is warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish, blending cozy and upscale perfectly – great for a relaxed midday meal. The menu is packed with options, from hearty sandwiches to fresh salads and comforting classics. I went for the Chicken Escalope sandwich, and it was on point – tender, perfectly cooked chicken in a soft granary roll with crisp lettuce, cucumber, and a zesty lemon mayo that made every bite pop. My buddy chose the lasagna, served piping hot with golden fries and a fresh side salad – classic comfort food done right. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions and bold flavors. The staff were a real highlight – super friendly, attentive, and full of warmth. Joseph, in particular, stood out, greeting us with a genuine smile and keeping everything running smoothly, even as the place hummed with lunchtime diners. Our drinks arrived quickly, perfectly complementing the meal, and the service was flawless throughout. “Wow what can I say. The kings oak event team executed our wedding perfectly. We had the best day!! It was honestly the most incredible venue. Paula and Linzi on the day were amazing making sure I was calm and everyone was in place and the day ran smoothly. The food was INCREDIBLE! So many people have said to me it’s the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Christian the toastmaster was lovely! The DJ provided was very good and really friendly! Photo Booth and chocolate fountain were included and were incredible, all the guests raved about them! I couldn’t fault the place. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding a reality, the venue is stunningly beautiful and every last detail is perfect.”

“Saturday afternoon pub lunch in the sun with the kids. 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals came to about £40 without drinks, which I felt was really reasonable. I had the tandoori chicken skewers and it was absolutely delicious. Came with fries, hot sauce, tatziki, grains and salad. Couldn't fault it. My partner had the sea bass which she loved and was a nice healthier option too. Also tried the chocolate brownie which was to die for.”

Phenomenal work from Rajeev, a really personable manager of the store who supported us with our coeliac (gluten free intolerant party) whilst navigating multiple online delivery orders at the same time. Rajeev is a star and very grateful for the service - really made our experience beyond pleasant, the best Subway I have ever visited! The ratio of the salad to filling and sauce (plentiful southwest!!!) was phenomenal. Thank you Rajeev. “I have been here a few times since it has opened and every time I have been the staff and service has been outstanding. A special shout-out to our lovely waitress Sophie. All the staff here are so lovely but Sophie was just so nice and accommodating. It was my friends birthday and all the waitresses went above and beyond to make it so special. We arrived at 5pm and didn't leave the restaurant till after 10pm. They made us feel welcome and at home and nothing was too much to ask. Another mention for the great cocktails that were made for us and were actually given complimentary. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to all at Dim T. Also the food was amazing.
