“It was my first time visiting this shop yesterday. I purchased samosas and vada pav. They are best heated at home. The people serving were very polite and helpful. The samosas were absolutely lovely and the vada pav was excellent and a great level of spice to it. Reminds me of the ones in Bombay. The vada pav here is so much better than SKVP. I will definitely be buying it again. Highly recommend it.”

“I called The Mobile Coffee Bean at 5:30pm one evening, hoping that they could perform a miracle, and provide a coffee bar for the next day. Somehow they pulled it off! Chris was really friendly and helpful and got everything in place that night. Kieran and Alex arrived on time the next day. They were super nice and got everything set up quickly. I know that none of this matters much if the coffee is terrible but of course it wasn’t. I picked a flat white, which I find a bit hit and miss, but it was lovely. It is very rare for me to write a review but this is thoroughly deserved.”

“Dropped by with my kids for lunch and it was a great experience. The service was brilliant and the owner is friendly and welcoming. The food was good. I had the lamb chops and got the chicken nuggets for the kids. Their prices are well suited and the atmosphere is relaxed. Will definitely be back.”

The young Italian “Bossman” and myself talk in Italian and his passion and love for his venue is obvious to see. I bought a Summer home in Inverigo (a province of Comi about 20 miles North of Milan in 2005) and our Family try to go on vacation there every year. Highly recommend Primo Caffe without a doubt it is the BEST COFFEE and serves a beautiful selection of Authentic Italian food, in Orpington. Caveat : it can get SUPER BUSY (which is a good sign of an excellent venue). Ciao”

“I was already a big fan of this restaurant - the tapas is excellent - and was interested to try their Sunday roast. I went on the first day of this new menu and, quite simply, LOVED it! There were a few nibble type starters available - olives, padron peppers, almonds, bread. We had the sourdough bread - this came toasted with an alioli sauce - very tasty! The main course choices were beef, chicken, lamb cutlets or a vegan wellington. We had the chicken and lamb - both were served with roast potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips, broccoli, yorkshire pudding and gravy. All superbly seasoned and delicious! Good portion size too. We didn’t have desserts, but saw others tucking into cheesecake and churros. Next time! The staff were fantastically welcoming as always! Laura, kept saying words to the effect of “It’s our first day doing this…” - no need to justify anything Laura, you’ve already aced this! Pricing is well pitched - £19 - £21 per person for main course, depending on your choice of meat. Well done Laura, Danny and, of course, the brilliant Spanish chef, Freddy! Already booked to go back next week!”

“Had a Birthday dinner few days ago and can only thank for a brilliant service and food.Haven't been there for few years and surprised the restaurant kept the same good quality of food, and service, maybe even better. Didn’t make any pictures this time but everyone was very happy with they food.I don't know any other peoples names working there but they all were very good and polite . It's very good vines available in restaurant.The man name Paul was serving our table ,he he was listening very carefully what vine I like and he recommended very good vine 10 of 10,just perfect.Well done to all stuff,very nice and cosy atmosphere there,big Well done to the chefs. The only thing I want say is not a complaints I didn't ask when we start ordering the food,but it will be nice if customers can be asked about the allergies before ordering food. “We hold a monthly craft meeting at the Maxwell. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. The team open early for us, which is amazing of them. We are always made to feel welcome and Flo is always so hospitable and helpful. We love how accessible the location is too. The food is great, we just wish there was breakfast service too!! ☺️”

Don't see the manager on the floor much, seen him once in the year or so I've been coming here, that was to open a till when they were busy, although the lady did have to ring 4 or 5 times lol very happy with the shop, enjoy coming here to shop.
