“We had a very memorable dinner at Carlo’s Trattoria ! Despite booking a table for 22 of us at very short notice , Bonnie and Jay went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dinner for my family gathering. The service was attentive and impeccable throughout the whole evening and the food truly delicious with very generous portions. We all had the fixed menu with a selection of starters ( the fried calamari are the best I have eaten in a very long time - even my Sicilian auntie thought they were tastier than the ones in Sicily ) followed by the prawns risotto and fresh ravioli with porcini mushroom and sage which were both heavenly! We ended the dinner with an amazing selection of desserts, all beautifully presented. I live in London but I will definitely drive back to Guildford just to eat at Carlo’s again!. Thank you SO MUCH Bonnie and Jay for looking after us and making the evening truly special for me and my family! Hope to see you again soon Barbara Z”

“We tried this Lebanese restaurant in Guildford, must say the atmosphere the service & the food is all very good. We tried many dishes, Shrimps, Chicken livers, squid rings, Lebanese spicy sausages, the mixed platter all very cooked very well & was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant.”

“We came in on 1st November for our really early Christmas Do. As always Sam and the team were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great and the pub was full. We used the app to order so didn’t even need to get up off the table. The food came out promptly, piping hot and was delicious, I couldn’t fault anything. This is a lovely pub with an atmosphere. “The Little Waitrose at Shell Horsley is a genuinely convenient stop. It's more than just a petrol station shop; it's a well-stocked mini-supermarket. I appreciate the quality of their ready meals and fresh produce, perfect for grabbing a quick, decent dinner. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, even during busy periods. While it's a smaller selection, they manage to pack in a good variety of Waitrose essentials. It's ideal for those last-minute bits, or when you need to top up on quality groceries without a full supermarket trip. The addition of the coffee machine is a nice touch too, for a quick pick me up. Overall a good experiance for a petrol station based shop.”

“I was introduced to this Beijing restaurant by a Malaysian friend, and I was truly impressed. The food here is very authentic you can taste Malaysian flavours, Hong Kong-style dishes, and traditional Chinese flavours as well. I believe they must have chefs from different backgrounds, because they manage to deliver such a wide range of delicious and authentic dishes. The service is excellent too. The staff are polite, friendly, and very efficient. You can tell that the management is responsible and pays attention to the details, whether it’s clearing tables or serving dishes. Everything feels well organized and professional. I also really enjoyed the karaoke section. After dinner, it’s a great place to relax, sing, and have a small gathering with friends. The system works smoothly, the song selection is up to date, and overall it adds a fun and lively atmosphere to the restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and has a classy, almost five star feel compared to many places in the area. Overall, great food, great service, and a great environment. Highly recommended!”

“Hadn't been in Next since it was in the White Lion Walk and was very happy leaving! I found a shirt on sale, and Susie was lovely during payment and had a conversation and a laugh. I came back later that day to exchange the shirt for a smaller size and Susie was totally understanding and was very helpful! Will definitely come back for any future clothing!”

“Security guard went over his work remit by going out of his way to help me,excellent customer support from him. A manager I didn't take her name but she too gave me fabulous customer support. The only issue I had at the till I was told my Nectar card was blocked so I have to call Sainsbury's to fix it & add 100 points from shopping apparently I've got to do within 30 days. All this means I won't call,not convenient”
