“We stopped by Greek Cook & Grill after a day exploring Teddington, Kingston, and Richmond, and it was easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in a while. The service was genuinely top-notch, and every dish we tried—from the chicken souvlaki and sea bream to the saganaki, baklava, and portokalopita—was delicious. Great wine and friendly vibes made it a perfect end to a busy day. Highly recommend!”

“It is the second time I used the H&L service for repairing my air-conditioning unit in my car. From the day one when I was booking on line with their receptionist until I collected my car, I have been kept informed about the progress all the time. Claire, who I understand is the Service Manager, is so nice and professional. On the collecting day, I was phoned a couple of times about the parts delivery time and the collecting time in detail. Give it a thumbs up!”

“Went in to see if they had a suitable card for my mum and a bar of fudge. Not only did they have a lovely range of cards and my fudge, they also had those sherbet things in paper UFOs. Then I saw the range of cookware! My gosh, the potato masher I bought works a treat, slipping right through them spuds. Creamy goodness every time. Took them all home in a flower pot, which I hadn’t even known I’d needed. The owner lady was really nice too: helped me find stuff, chatted with me about guitar playing and cameras, and then opened the door for me as I wobbled out with my goods. This shop has it all. Within reason, obviously. It’s like Open All Hours for the twenty-first century, but with customers and stock and good deals every day.”

“I dog sat for a few weeks for a friend. They warned me she is not a fan of groomers. Colleen and her team dispelled that myth, and got to clean her ears from wax and hair, which other groomers could not as she fully resisted! No more mites! “Never had a bad experience here. Always left to browse alone without being bugged, however I’ve never had a problem receiving help when I ask. Friendly, and extremely knowledgeable staff in all areas. Gorgeous cats appear out of nowhere to welcome you at different points. More often than not, I also have a chat at the counter with staff when checking out. Thankful for a small family businesses like this still left in the area. Being run the way it is explains how they have lasted so well”

“One of the best Italian restaurants in London. The pizza is actually better than the pizza we had in Florence. Brilliant Neoplitan pizza. Fresh ingredients. Also the mushroom vegetarian Ravioli pasta was excellent. Prices were worth it. I'd highly recommend visiting.”

“A real nice experience in Indian dining. Started off with the reviews of course and then the dining. The cider choice, was a koppaberg which was refreshing. Thr samosas in the chaat were complimented with channa aka chickpeas and vatiyon other accoutrements. Delicious. The murg tikka was quite good too but would have preferred fit bit more heat n the green chutney served with it. On to the main course with lamb saag and dal makhani with breads. Both ere well cooked and excellently spiced to provide a great end to the meal. Unfortunately no space for kulfi.”

“I worked in London for about two years and was staying near Tangawizi. I ate there a couple times a week many many times over that two year time frame. I absolutely love it there. The food is phenomenal and always has the highest quality ingredients. The service is exceptional as well. Eight years later, we returned to the UK for my 60th birthday and I wanted to visit them again due to the fond memories I had. Our dinner this evening was just as phenomenal as ever. The flavors and freshness of the ingredients was incredible. The King tandoori shrimp are a favorite of mine and I literally got another order for dessert rather than a normal dessert. They thought I was joking when I ordered it for dessert! I travel frequently for business and have had the opportunity to eat at many phenomenal restaurants and they are at the top of the list with the best! I’m so happy they made it through the pandemic and now celebrating 20 years. I would highly recommend Tangawizi!”

“Great, unusual cuisine and lovely food. Ever since Soul opened, we have been coming for breakfast, brunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. The food is really unique, using ingredients like jackfruit, and very healthy. Recommend the avocado and the roast cauliflower among other dishes. The wine selection is quite impressive. Lovely service and team. We’re fast becoming regulars for sure.”

I love their croque monsure (please forgive my French) with goat cheese, cakes, coffee is also lovely. “Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

The ladies on the reception desk are always friendly and very helpful. They inform you in advance of the price of the procedures you are due to have done. So no big shocks at the end of the treatment. If you are nervous about going to a dentist, then this is the place for you, as there is a professional, calmness about the whole experience.”
