“My colleagues and I come to the Rose and Crown in Tooting nearly every week, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely lovely, friendly, kind, and always happy to help. Their pizzas are absolutely delicious (we’ve tried most of them by now!), and the wine and cocktail selection is top-notch. The garden out back is such a nice bonus. It’s become our regular spot for a reason, highly recommend!”

“Traveled to London from Birmingham. Just watched two Arsenal games this week. Of course the CRAZIEST one against Real Madrid. The atmosphere was sick. People here were nice and chill. You can get some Thai food here. It’s really cool to support the team with other people here together. It’s such a special night to me as a first time to enjoin in this Arsenal pub.”

“This is a very atmospheric pub tucked away in Farringdon. The food was great and the service is fast. There are lots of nooks and crannies and there’s space to sit outside with large barrels used as tables. Well worth a stop. It used to be called the Jerusalem tavern in case that’s in your guidebook; it’s the same place!”

“30 years ago, this was my works' local - a proper London boozer in the backstreets. I've been away a long time but now I sometimes have to visit the area and it's STILL a proper London boozer, run by the same family, full of locals of all ages - ideal for a quiet chat or sitting in the garden and soaking up the sun (or rain!) There's no food these days, but amongst a few real ales Harvey's Best is always on which is a really good test for a pub! A beautiful pub in a quiet location, lovely staff, ideal for a quiet pensive pint.”

“Very friendly service with good Italian food in a Italian feel outside area. Buffala Pizza is my favourite and they have san pellegrino chinotto soft drink that I love drinking in Italy so was perfect with the Italian music and some Italian people talking next to me, really felt like I’m in Italy, hence, a very authentic place as they say. The limoncello and coffee (espresso) was very delicious too. Will be back!”

“This restaurant is amazing. The staff are ALL superb. Their skill is clear and their empathy and kindness is exceptional. We went here for my Mum's 93rd Birthday they could not have gone out of their way more to make the occasion special. The food is totally excellent and worth every penny. Jemima our waitress was brilliant. The hostess Annabel was the best we have ever seen. She was totally " on " everything that was happening in the whole restaurant. Josh the manager was empathetic and impressive. The venue is unbeatable. Choose this restaurant for the special things and the every day events and they will make everything special.”

“Arrived unannounced with 7 people and a dog, and they catered with no questions. GM came over to meet the pooch. Maria was super attentive and our fresh, oven-baked pizzas were out in 7 minutes. A brilliant overall experience for a saturday lunch! Will be back.”

“I went for an afternoon meet up with a friend. Great space if you looking for good food and quite ambience to talk. The pizza was delicious. I also ordered a montenegro and lime cocktail which I found too bitter but the manager was kind enough to change it for me at no added cost.”

The staff working on Tues July 8 were so helpful with a very large order needed for a work function. The manager (I believe her name was Alyssa) went above and beyond to help me and my colleague feed 40+ people on short notice. The food was made quickly by the outstanding kitchen staff and it as so well received --- it was devoured before we could get a picture of all the amazing dishes they prepared! Zero complaints!! 100% recommend. Thanks again to the staff .. YOU were the real rock stars that night!!”

“[SHORT VERSION] One of the best Japanese food we’ve had in London. Prices were MORE than reasonable and the portions are big. You should eat here. [LONG VERSION] The Food: We first had the Yuzu Yellowtail Tiradito. The first mouthful me and my partner had, we looked at each other and said, this sort of flavours could be easily served in fine dining restaurants. Very complex sweet, sour, and a small beautiful hint of spiciness to it and then the yellowtail tasted so fresh. Not one bit of slimy/fishy smell or flavour to it. We then had the mixed tempura. There was no usual dipping sauce and we thought it was a bit sad, but when we had our first bite, it was so crunchy and tasty that too much sauce would ruin it. You could really taste the freshness of the prawn. My partner and I think that proper japanese chefs pay attention to detail, so we check how they prepare their food, and they delivered. The tails of the prawns were completely clean with no black marks at all and the vegetables were so fresh too. We also had the pork katsu curry, which had the entire bowl covered with the pork cutlet and a really powerful japanese curry sauce(very flavourful)[no photo as someone took a better one that does justice to it]. The Chef and the Place: To be honest, I found out about this restaurant passing by it early morning(it was closed) on our to the bus stop, and I checked the reviews(high). I thought we would drop by later that night. They said that they don’t do reservations as it is really a small place(mainly takeaways), with bar like setting(stools lined up along the window and along where the chef prepares sushi) and 1 small table on the side. We went in later for dinner and were surprised that there wasn’t a single Japanese staff in the place, I even looked outside to check if we were in the right place. So we’re like, ok let’s just order, we’re here already and as soon as we tasted the food, we loved it. We talked to this Sri Lankan chef and asked how the hell his food tasted this good and we all had a good laugh. He’s been in the Japanese Fine dining field for 25 years and he wanted to start his own little restaurant serving cheap but high quality food. We spent 2 hours talking about Japanese food, and how they store, prepare, and present their food. They even showed us that they use only the highest quality ingredients all the way down to the salt they use for the sushi. These guys are lovely human beings and they are also highly skilled in what they do and they need the recognition. Thank you for the lovely meal. It was a pleasure meeting you guys. P.S. Thanks for the special off-menu aburi salmon!”

“Beautiful country pub just outside of Cobham town centre. Small car park available which did get full quickly but there did appear to be some more parking available off the main road. Service was fantastic from Jarred. Lovely interior, food was sublime and the oysters were some of the best we’d had in a long while. Thank you to all of the staff for a great lunch. We certainly hope to be back again soon.”

I tried already 3 times , the lamb chops amazing , the polo Milanese amazing but I have a request: bring back the fillet steak . I don’t like the ribeye steak so please do that but the rest is all good . Guys if you didn’t try yet I promise you is the best place to eat in Watford . “Visited EightySix Restaurant and Bar this evening in Harrow, didn’t go in with much expectation. On first sight the restaurant looked small when you enter it’s much bigger inside. On entering we were greeted and given the choice to choose our table. Not long after we got seated, the waiter came and handed us the menu. We ordered the spicy wings, veg burger and the chicken burger and the churros for dessert. The veg burger was actual veg, I was genuinely surprised because most places you go it’s plant based and it did not disappoint, the chicken burger was even better with the special burger sauce, amazing. The staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful. Food was amazing, the atmosphere was brilliant. I will definitely be visiting again.”

The restaurant was clean so was the toilet. The waiters were friendly and courteous. We've been in London for 5 days and this food was by far the best. An absolute recommendation.
