“I had a problem with my dishwasher and was recommended AJL by a friend. I rang them and spoke to Lisa who got me booked in very quickly. Tony the engineer was professional, thorough and very efficient. He explained in detail what the fault was. A few days later, I noticed a few drops of water by the front of my dishwasher (nowhere near as bad as before ) after it had finished its wash cycle and so I called AJL again and spoke to Collette. I explained I was going away in 2 days and was keen to get it seen to quickly and she arranged for Tony to come back out to me that afternoon. He came back and made a few adjustments to the dishwasher door and it’s been fine ever since I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending AJL. Mark the manager was so helpful and professional as were Lisa, Collette and Tony. Excellent service”

“My friend was stuck abroad and needed his 4 bedroom apartment emptied, cleaned and ready to be handed back to the landlord, I had a week to do this. I was recommended Furniture Zone by a good friend, so i contacted them. They said it would be extremely difficult as it was a penthouse and the time-frame but they would rearrange their work to fit the urgency, in just 3 days they had packed and shrink wrapped all the furniture and clothes and helped me with storage too, they were very cheap and trustworthy, they assured myself and my friend that all would be ok and this was exactly what my friends' family was wary about. “The most authentic Japanese restaurant in London that my family loves! As Hong Konger in London, we have high expectations on Japanese food but it always let us down here in London. It’s definitely not a cheap restaurant but it worths every penny u spend. Attentive staff, good ambience, fresh sashimi and nice food. We all give a thumbs up, including my picky teenage children. Will surely recommend it and revisit. Our teenagers ate a lot yesterday and that why the bill was a bit pricy.”

“We held our work Christmas Party here last night (38 people!). I can't say enough good things about it. From the whole booking process through to the brilliant service on the night, the team at TD&H did an exceptional job. The food was delicious and came out perfectly timed (not easy with a party of 38), the drinks never stopped flowing, there were plenty of staff to look after us and (icing on the cake) there was great live entertainment after the meal, which meant we felt like it was a proper party. “Had a nice meal here for my Aunts birthday. It was quite busy but not noisy. The fixed price lunch menu was good value. The a la carte looked a bit pricey! I had the ribs my aunt had the salmon. We were served by the delightful Alissa and really enjoyed the food and the ambience. Recommended.”

“This gem is my new favourite. My chicken vindaloo was amazing, the atmosphere was decent and it had a lovely designed layout. What would be amazing though is if they had Cobra on draft and not just served by the bottle but that’s one for the owner. I definitely recommended the Moghul, you won’t be disappointed. “Like the Black Horse, this is a pub that's more of a food place than a pub, but there's a proper bar area if you're just in there for drinks. Food is good and they often have deals on. They often have entertainment on, although this is usually just a solo singer with backing tracks. The pub quiz is once a month on the first Monday of the month (although is moving to twice a month in 2026); it's a good quiz with 8 rounds of questions on a variation of subjects. Overall a decent place for the locals of Pilgrims Hatch!”

“UPDATE: Also perfect for socially distanced festive fun! Just spent 3 excellent hours here with friends, feasting on some of the best curry I’ve had in a long time. The Kachori Chaat and Murg Moghlai were the standout dishes. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will absolutely be back soon.”
