“I attended the ‘blow dry like a pro’ course as a complete beginner and I’m so glad I did it! Gemma was a great teacher, she taught me lots within a short space of time and I left feeling confident and excited. The salon is also lovely! I would highly recommend attending a course if it’s something you’ve been thinking about or to speak to Gemma in general about hair as she really does know what she’s talking about! I will definitely be returning to learn more in the near future.”

“Regularly come here. 5 star service everytime. would 100% reccomend! Edit- being a regular customer i know to book my appointment ahead of time as it gets busy. Having booked an appointment for 12:45 and arriving early, i was still waiting at 13:15 to be seated. I was then left with foils on my hands for an extended period of time while the ladies completed other clients treatments. Once someone eventually came to do my nails, as they finished someone else’s, my arm was then pulled vigorously again and again before being passed onto another member of staff to finish the design which at first didn’t match (i was having french tips). I eventually left the nail shop 1hr and 45 mins later for an appointment which usually takes 45 mins. This is a disappointing experience after regularly coming for 2+ years. edit- salon has been in contact and explained the situation and rectified the mistake. I am impressed with the proactivity and appreciate the gesture of righting their mistake, maintaining their professionalism. thank you.”

“I do the clinical pilates class for recovery from back surgery and its the thing that has helped me more than anything. The staff are extremely well qualified and tailor the exercises to what you need and push you to the right degree. Catherine takes my usual class and is outstanding and understands my needs implicitly. There is a new instructor, Sophie, who is also excellent and added some great new exercises to my routine. Everyone at the clinic is really helpful and welcoming. Its been a while since I needed a full physio appointment but I saw Jacqui regularly in the past and she really helped to give me a pathway out of daily pain to functional exercise.”

“I have wanted to do dance classes for all of my adult life and always chickened out due to stage fright/anxiety, fear of being judged and under qualified at even “casual” classes. At the start of this year I pulled the trigger and did some taster sessions at Studio K and never looked back. All the instructors and members are so welcoming and friendly. A variety of levels of fitness and body types (which is refreshing, especially in ballet!) and everyone from people who have never danced to seasoned dancers. It has been a wonderful social experience and chance to be able to indulge in a range of dance styles I never thought I’d be able to do in the same place plus a discovery of others (Waacking is life changing). I only wish I had time to go more often! Thank you Studio K - especially Ginger and Sarah who I normally do classes with. Try out the taster sessions - you won’t regret it!”

“This is a great garage I can't recommend it enough, especially for woman, these guys won't speak to you like u don't have a clue about cars and they won't take you for a ride! I moved to the area and I noticed my car water tank was low, I took it over and they inspected it and showed me the problem. I took it in the next day and my car was sorted. (8months ago) They are very approachable, polite and friendly. Took my car for a service today and again I can't fault them, done a brilliant job, car is back running smoothly, very reasonably priced and you can tell they don't just do things to get more money out of you. I've had a repair done and a service before I wrote my review and when my car is due a MOT this is definitely where I will be taking it.”

“I go to General Auto’s regularly for my MOTs and servicing and they always deliver to an excellent standard. Recently went to have my clutch replaced in my car and the turnaround and advice they gave me was second to none. Also recently had my light bulbs in my car replaced and they were able to fix it and point out that the holder was snapped off which is why the light couldn’t be secured properly into place and offered me a solution (something all other mechanics and Halfords I’ve went to have missed!)”
