“Great swimming facilities if caught at the right time of day. Easy access to a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. The price is good if you're willing to pay for three months membership. The only shorter option is a session pass which cost me more than I was happy to spend. Next time I think I'll hit the gym too!”

Gina has such a great way of making everyone feel welcome and motivated. She really brings the energy every single time. Nuffield is so lucky to have her!”

“I moved to Virgin Active Repton Park in January after spending 5 years at Nuffield Health, and the difference has been a complete revelation. Nuffield raised prices twice in a year, removed key facilities like the jacuzzi without offering any discount, and the overall atmosphere — especially with some PTs — felt disrespectful and unfair. That experience pushed me to leave. Virgin Active has been the opposite in every way. From the gated community car park where you know your car is safe, to the friendly and welcoming reception team who greet you with a smile and provide fresh towels on every visit, the hospitality here is on another level. The locker rooms are a bit outdated and could use a modern refresh, but they’re always clean. The gym floor is great, though I do wish it had a bit more space and additional machines — especially a dedicated bicep machine. The real highlight of this club is the spa area. The sauna and steam room were recently renovated and are consistently in perfect working condition. The jacuzzi is incredibly relaxing, and the swimming pool is huge. As someone who’s been bodybuilding for over 10 years, having high-quality recovery facilities makes a massive difference. The architecture of the building is beautiful — transforming an old church into a gym gives the whole place a unique, almost royal feel. Overall, Virgin Active Repton Park delivers exceptional value, atmosphere, and service. Easily one of the best fitness clubs I’ve ever been a part of.”

“Alicia is a great dog walker! She's very flexible with days/times and always lets me know ahead of time when she'll be walking Jasmine. Very professional and reliable, in that she communicates with us when necessary and sends a reminder email in the middle of each month for date requests for the following month. We have a rescue pup, and she can be a bit particular, but Alicia is so accommodating. I know that Jasmine is always in good hands when she's with Alicia. We will continue to use Alicia as our dog walker for as long as we live in London.”

“I have just recently joined the lab and I can honestly say I cannot fault it. From the friendly greetings you receive as soon as you walk in to the staff in the gym who are always on hand to help you; to the lab bar & restaurant which has such a lovely vibe and an even lovelier menu! I had a bit of an issue with my direct debit and the club secretary was so professional and helpful sorting it out for me so quickly. They have recently refurbished the pool area to include an ice bath, new & improved sauna and WOW I always leave feeling so refreshed. What a lovely place”

“Have been attending Aqua Aerobics with the lovely Linda and it's always fun and a great workout. Linda's a fantastic instructor and knows the names of all the people who attend her classes and all new people to the classes are made to feel really welcome . Would highly recommend Linda's classes. The lovely staff on reception are always friendly and helpful and helped me sort out an issue with my monthly pass.”

“Friendly and very helpful staff I left my £1 for the locker in car and she let me leave and item of value behind the counter for the £1. Simple and rare these days. Nice pool, good temperature, clean and no one wearing shoes in the changing rooms. Unlike every “Better” pool we’ve been to.”

“This is a PUBLIC PLACE! To have the amount of people they have coming through there each day and be able to maintain it to the ability they’re able to is very surprising! It is an extremely popular place and you have to take into consideration the social environment it’s in! I have moved over from David Lloyd and although it’s no David Lloyd (David Lloyd is the heaven of members club) it certainly does the trick! People on here complaining about skinny teenage boys in the gym… we have to start somewhere! I appreciate Everyone Active for helping me and adapting to my needs due to my epilepsy, Sometimes the staff are a bit on edge because they deal with lots of people every day be patient with them. They are good people just under a lot of stress so please remember that! (However I do believe they could Invest in some more professional cleaners) Thankyou!”

Lianda was a super star even with being very booked up she managed to sort this out for us both. happy kids and happy parents. She is so lovely and I’ve definitely chosen such a good fit for my needs. I ask a lot of questions and she always answers them with knowledge and professionalism… And patience! “I was seen here for a knee injury, great service from reception to the physio Reece everyone was always polite and really helpful. The treatment I received in clinic for my injury was fantastic with clear and easy to understand instruction for exercises at home leading to being able to get back to my normal activity. I would definitely recommend Move Clinic.”

“Budget shoe shop..quite a few of such shops on local high streets of towns and cities...I got lucky when I checked it out...Today I bought those martial arts black soft canvas flat sole shoes/slippers with a black rubber sole with a very soft feel ...only £5.00. I have looked for these shoes/slippers for a very long time and now just as I look around I see them and I am feeling dumbfounded. My first ever visit to such a shop and I get lucky.. I wore these slippers in my young days and always remembered how comfortable they felt. Hope you pay a visit and hope you will also get lucky. The shop does not sell famous brands but you might find something if you go in with an open mind...and your purchase will not set you back too much either. Good luck.”

“Very friendly gym. Nice and cheerful staff. Used the Gym for a long time, loved the Body Pump classes and the main gym area. Few machines can be replaced but again you are not paying through the roof to get into a 5 star facility. It is a good gym and a nice bunch of people. Good timings and decently maintained. Recommended.”
