“I’ve been to a few different circus classes in the past but I always felt that they were too focused on fitness side of things and not really the art and beauty of circus. With other circus classes it feels like the new get fit craze but Forgotten Circus School is the perfect combination of working on strength/ fitness but also /training/ and nurturing an art form. The teachers genuinely care about your progress and you can see the love they have for their particular specialties. They will speak about how what you’re learning can be applied in future routines and performances, or wherever you choose to take your circus journey, which is very inspiring. I started in February and have been coming every month since, I can’t really imagine my life without it now and I can’t see myself going anywhere else. Every class is fun from the warm up till the very end and everyone who attends supports and encourages each other, it’s a really lovely sense of community.”

“Great club and atmosphere. I’ve been to many clubs where I felt uncomfortable. By that I mean not really welcoming, unfriendly people, too much egos etc. Also when I’ve tried other clubs, the teaching was all over the place and don’t really follow any real structure or program. I found the classes at the Khalid Ismail Academy to be very structured and well taught. Very friendly members who are very willing to help and encourage you. For me it’s the best club I’ve trained at. I would highly recommend the club for all ages. Khalid has years of experience in MMA which you can see with the teaching and his portfolio of people he has trained and coached.”

The product range is extensive, featuring high-quality, stylish "serious" footwear for both men and women—including formal and informal shoes and boots—some of which are understandably priced as premium items. Exceptional Service and Craftsmanship: The staff were a standout feature. The attendants were impeccably dressed, clean, and warm. They were pleasant to speak with and genuinely willing to assist with any questions. Their professional and welcoming demeanor seemed to perfectly complement the high standard of the products, creating a cohesive and pleasant shopping experience. If you are looking for shoes for formal events, parties, or business meetings, Jones is a must-visit; you will not be disappointed. Product Quality and Value I personally managed to purchase a black brogues boot at half price thanks to the ongoing promotional sale. The craftsmanship evident in the products on the shelves truly reflects their long history since 1857. The color combinations of the shoes in the shelves were excellent, with deep reds, light browns, blacks, and even blues, all looking "knock out" and sophisticated. I will definitely return and highly recommend Jones for anyone looking to invest in serious, high-quality footwear and accessories.”

“Circus Glory is a real gem of a circus training space! Having done aerial silks for several years I decided to try trapeze and chose Circus Glory purely because of proximity to where I live, and I have found the classes to be rewarding in a way which other circus classes I have taken have not been. The location is wonderful — a small and intimate space which allows you to be within sight of the teacher at all times, which makes for a safe environment. You feel like you're doing trapeze in the trees because of all the windows! As a teacher Geneviève perfectly balances seriousness and strictness with kindness and encouragement. You feel that she wants you to strive to be the best you can, yet you don't feel under pressure. She is extremely knowledgeable and in tune with all of her students' individual needs and levels, and you feel very safe in her hands. I have found the other students in the class kind and welcoming — everyone supports each other regardless of different levels within the class. Overall the atmosphere is one that makes me want to return even when I am not living just down the road! Definitely give this class a try if you are curious about circus arts.”

The variety and quality of the food are exceptional, from the fresh fruit and natural juices to the freshly baked pastries and hot dishes prepared with care. “We attended a private commercial/hip-hop dance class for a hen do and everything was excellent! The Events Team were very responsive and reliable throughout the booking process. Our dance class was with Wallis who was fabulous! She had an amazing energy which put us all at ease and got us in the mood! She choreographed a fab routine that perfectly suited our mixed-ability/experience group and we all had so much fun. It’s definitely made us want to come back for some of her regular classes in the future! Would highly recommend!”

“Amazing Hotel, stayed one night. Great service, from the start to end. Dinner venues very Cousy, with outstanding service. Room very clean and comfortable bed, love the fairy showers, smoothing and soft. Breakfast deal it’s amazing, a little morning buffet where we can find a bit all you can eat. There is a water dispenser outside where we can fill our bottles, great idea. Silence and sleeping night for middle of Bankside location. Also great tourism attraction within one mile from it, Tate, Shakespeare Theatre, Borough market, George Inn the oldest gallery inn the world. And more…”

The hygienists, dentists and receptionists are friendly, welcoming and professional. On the occasions when I needed emergency treatment, they have endeavoured to book me an appointment very quickly. “My first squash Club in London, although the squash court floors could do with some upgrades the club and the members are more than welcoming and friendly, and the level of players is very high. I thoroughly love my time in the club so far, very easy to make friends. Really makes you feel at home and wanting to be there everyday just to meet more people.”

“Amazing venue with amazing staff . We know the venue well so were happy to book the venue for a 70th birthday party. We booked the Glindon Room as this was on the ground floor and perfect for our guests as some were in wheelchairs. Preparation for the event was really easy and managed by George. Everything was perfect on the day, the room looked lovely, the buffet was fabulous and the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
