Nestled in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the setting is relaxed and perfect for grabbing a bite after a walk. I ordered the halloumi souvlaki wrap, and it was packed with flavor—perfectly grilled halloumi with a slight crisp on the outside, fresh salad, and a deliciously creamy sauce, all wrapped in warm pita. The skin-on fries were crispy and well-seasoned, making them the perfect side. The staff was friendly, and service was quick despite a steady stream of customers. The homemade lemonade was also a highlight—refreshing and not too sweet. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Taverna In The Park for a casual, satisfying meal. Whether you’re craving Greek street food or just want a nice spot to sit and enjoy the park, this place is worth a visit!”

“Don't let the negative reviews put you off booking. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the 'Premier Plus' rooms, it was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and all the staff were really nice and helpful. We ordered breakfast, which is served in the pub (The Winning Post), which is on the side of the building. It was amazing; there was plenty of choice (even as a vegetarian), and the cooked breakfast was made to order. Again, all the Staff were sociable and friendly. We will definitely be back.”

“I had an amazing experience at this Nigerian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and cooked with so much authenticity. I had Abula and it tasted like home. I could tell the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. They could do a little more with the restaurant, some clean up and repairs but the staff made me feel right at home. An old man was just staring at me from his pint of I assume some guest ale, then averted his gaze when I stared back.
