“We had to make an emergency appointment after one of our dogs trod on a hornet. It was immediately clear he had a nasty reaction. We were so thankful that we were fitted in to see Sam. She was so good with our nervous rescue dog. He was clearly distressed and in pain, but Sam's gentle and patient approach allowed her to examine him comprehensively. She gave clear guidance about the treatment plan, and we were clear about what to keep under observation over the next few days. Our dog recovered, during the timescale Sam predicted.”

“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

Well beyond my expectations. A personal credit to him and his staff. Mr Cowling is highly respected by both staff AND students. - Facilities and Cleanliness of the school is unbelievable. - Brand new resources. - Students have their heads down in all of the classrooms i visited. - Equipment; formidable! All Apple computers and screens. - Well funded and beyond my comprehension. - Wonderful , open, spacious outdoor space. “Pick up prescription for my husband. One of the staff asked me would I like to check my blood pressure. After check, reading was not very good and she said will send my reading to my gp, hopefully will get appt from them. She also gave me a copy incase i didnt hear anything from GP. Surprising LESS than a day, I really got text message appointment from my GP. Many thanks to Tesco chemist that really did good job. If not, not sure how much time I need to spend to get an appt from GP.”

“I have been visiting the Cheam centre for the last 3 months as part of a group working on "Joint Pain Management" and have been extremely pleased with our health coach Steven who has provided me and the group, not only with excellent coaching to improve our fitness with the aim of reducing pain and becoming more active, it has also provided us with logical and much welcomed ideas to make small changes on our day to day activities that are really making a big difference to me and others on the group. The staff at the Cheam center I have met are also very welcoming and friendly and the various exercise machines I have used are very good and simple to use. Would strongly recommend the Cheam centre and Steven to anyone that wants to better manage their joint pain and to also become fitter and healthier.”
