“YHA Manchester is an example of how a good hostel doesn't have to cost a lot. Large, bright and airy room for four people. The beds were solid, the only thing missing was curtains on the bunk beds for more privacy, but that's a minor detail. The bathroom was a good size, clean and looked new. The common areas are large and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location near a train and tram station is great for a city the size of Manchester. The hostel has a view of part of the river canal, and having breakfast with this view was a bonus. I would definitely stay at this hostel again”

“I've stayed at this Premier Inn many times and I have to say, it's a very good spot. The location is great, with McDonald's just around the corner and Chinatown only a 5-minute walk away. Plus, every time we stay here we discover new parts of Manchester that we haven't seen before. It's at the quieter end of Manchester which is always a plus. The hotel is also very close to the train stop, so it's easy to get around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also good, with a decent variety of options available. Overall, I highly recommend this Premier Inn. The location is great, it's at the quieter end of Manchester and it's easy to access other parts of the city. Plus the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable”

“Thank you to Lewis Danny , Leon and the the whole team for such a welcoming stay - I could have stayed all week with a team like that , like are an absolute credit to your establishment. Leon served me in the restaurant. He was kind , warm , understanding , knowledgeable , helpful , professional, but above all else his service was exemplary, second to none! I have never met such customer service in a very long time , of this level , and how refreshing to meet someone that loves what they do , and has a positive attitude in all their work. Promote him very soon, or I'll be honest you are missing a trick here , and definetly do not let him move to another hotel. Danny was kind , warm so so welcoming & answered every question I had promptly & efficiently. “Simple and good hotel, with an excellent location in the northern part of the city center. Very close to the Arndale Mall and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. Exceptional service — quick, efficient, respectful, and pleasant. Clean rooms and overall a very clean hotel. The dining area is a bit crowded for my taste, and the English breakfast is basic.”

“Wonderful soundproofing for a city location. Didn't hear traffic, banging doors or anything during the night. Very comfy bed, powerful shower, clean and useful facilities. Also lovely friendly lady on reception. Late checkout brilliant too. The beefeater attached to it is great as well. We arrived very tired from long journey and took advantage of the special offer for dinner and breakfast. Food was delicious, portions good and Holly our waitress was brilliant.”

“It was lovely and for tourists interested in visiting Old Trafford, this is super close. The bus system is great so we could stay here even though our event was at the University of Manchester. The breakfast was beautiful and fun, and we didn't have to break our banks.”

Local amenities good, petrol station, tesco, subway etc. Parking at the back of the travel lodge at a very reasonable price.”

“Salford Quays Travelodge is the best in the whole country! Our favourite place to stay. Perfect for getting around Manchester by tram, and ideally situated for The Lowry theatre. And lovely Ordsall Hall. This Travelodge is always comfortable, warm and welcoming. The staff are smashing. “Had another enjoyable stay here. Booked in for the nights either end of our flights out of Manchester Airport. Rooms clean, bed comfortable and had the food package. We were served breakfast by Lena who was friendly and efficient. All the staff have been welcoming. Premier Inn is consistently good and good value for money.”

“Stayed here on a Friday night as I was celebrating my birthday with a night out. Brilliant location with the Northern Quarter on the doorstep. Hotel bar open until 4am so we were able to get food when we came back. Shout out to supervisor Bernadette who was absolutely lovely when checking us in.”

“You get what you pay for is it a Hilton no but it’s cheap central and comfy. The room was clean no complaints easy access 24/7 reception. Hot water and nice staff. If your coming for WHP or and concerts it’s cheap and it does the job. DO NOT SHARE A ROOM WITH SOMEONE YOU NOT COMFORTABLE BEING NAKED AROUND the shower isn’t in a separate room. However, if your good mates or in a relationship and looking for a cheap nights stay that’s clean and has a bed it’s the place.”

“I had a great stay at this hotel before my flight from Manchester Airport. It was super convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. What really made the experience, though, was the excellent service. Faizan, in particular, was fantastic. He handed me my key and was so friendly and approachable, which I really appreciated. As a nervous flyer, his ability to communicate and just talk about things really helped take my mind off my worries and made me feel a lot better about the flight ahead. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near the airport.”

“Nearly didn't book here due to some bad reviews. Glad I did because the place is fine. It does look a bit tatty on the outside but it is OK inside. Although it is on a main road into Manchester we were surprised at how little traffic there was overnight. Our room was overlooking the road and we had no problem with traffic noise. It had acoustic double glazing that was very effective. There is no air con but a fan is provided which helps. We were there on one of the hottest days/nights and found it tolerable. The meal deal was good. You eat in the pub which is attached to the hotel. Unfortunately it doesn't have any real ale but the Draught Guinness was good. There was a selection of lager and cider. So don't be put off, if it is convenient for you go for it.”

“Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were outstanding and hospitable, the bar next to the lobby had a welcoming, cozy feel, wonderful menu and lovely rooms. I'm not sure about some of the complaints on the size, it seemed average to me, but it was very clean which is high on my importance list, as was the rest of the hotel. This hotel is away from the city bustle a bit, but a lot of trees around the property make it very relaxing and a pleasure to escape the traffic. My only feedback is the vegan sausage in the morning was freezer burned and a little bland, they can be tossed in oil & seasoning to add flavor, but fresh/defrosted is best. My veg pizza was wonderful, so was the veg burger. Great buffet in morning. Outstanding staff professionalism in housekeeping and lobby.”

Avoid the pizzeria next door to hotel. Good car park just seconds from reception. Shortage of power sockets in rooms, bring a power strip. Lovely staff. I will return.”
