“One of the nicest Chinese around, the egg fried rice especially with little spring onion in it is the best I’ve ever tasted. The salt and pepper ribs are gorgeous, the curry is really distinctive too, it’s beautiful. How does this place not have more and better reviews, the quality of the Chinese food is so much better than anything around. Just such a shame you can’t have it delivered and it doesn’t open late.”

“Ok, can we start by saying it is the best chicken tacos in the city if not in the UK. True corn tortillas, coriander, lime and all the good stuff. The food was great all throughout, we took tacos, totopos, pardon peppers and quesadillas. The Paloma Anderson cocktail was lovely and refreshing. To top it all we had to order a second dose of the tacos. Love the atmosphere, selection of beers and the service. How come we haven't been here before? Ohhh and it is not only dog friendly, Hertzel got treats before the humans. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Stopped in the Arndale Market for some lunch. We settled on a chicken gyros from Zorbas as it’s one of our favourite cuisines. The food was prepped in front of us, and was hot and fresh and delicious. The staff were really friendly too and we would recommend trying this option for lunch!”

The food was out of this world literally, the pounded yam nice and soft, Banga Soup was just mouthwatering, every bite just made me want more! And the Taba (don't get me started) I used to have Taba as a kid and throughout my years never found a place that made Taba the way this one place made it when I was young... Tried this place for my birthday and the Taba was spot on like they were the ones that made it when I was little... 100/10 - seriously.”

“I went here with my family as I was intrigued with the layout. Fortunately it was only us as the space is small and intimate. I liked the cushion seating which gave the atmosphere a Middle Eastern vibe. When the food came I was pleasantly surprised with how filling the Arab Breakfast was; it was just right not too bloated and overly full. The hummus, bread, falafel were all very tasty, freshly made, moist and fluffy. We shared the Tiramisu and it was divine ! ♥️”

It’s a small spot, much like many of the classic places in Chinatown, so if you pop in at a peak time like 5pm on a weekend, it can get quite busy, so I would definitely plan around that ☺️ You get an hour to dine, but I found that was plenty of time as the station isn’t huge to get around. The staff were really attentive, and if you’re looking for an affordable buffet or some comforting food, this is a brill spot.”

The Onion Rings were unbelievably good (I’m definitely coming back for them!), and the Garlic Mayo tasted wonderfully authentic.
