“I visited The Oxnoble on a Sunday with a friend who had been before for their Sunday roast. She mentioned the concept had changed a bit, but regardless, the Sunday roast was absolutely delicious! Our waiter, Sean, was super friendly and made the experience even better (he recommended the cauliflower chees and OMG soo good). I would definitely recommend The Oxnoble to anyone visiting Manchester for the weekend!”

Service was really good, especially for a busy Saturday evening. Ambience was lovely, we sat in the glass roomed area, needed to put the heaters on but was warm enough. “We had a fantastic dinner today! The food as always was excellent but nothing truly compares to the service here. The staff are so kind and welcoming, eager to assist and generally make you feel like you're at a friend's for dinner! PJ was honestly incredible, the kids absolutely adored him and sometimes its a worry taking 2 kids under 5 for dinner but he was a breath of fresh air and made us feel comfortable the whole time! I cannot express enough how much that meant to me - you are an absolute asset to the Midland! Thank you all so much - see you again soon!”

“Bunny Jackson’s in Manchester is unapologetically dive bar and they own that brand, and I didn’t realise how much I would miss a spot like this till I walked in. From the dim, sticky ambiance and dated decor to their neon signs with the loud chatter and cheap drinks, this place knows it’s a dive bar and wears it proudly. There are even signs that say things like we are sticky and messy, we got a dog, we are loud and we don’t care if you care. And it’s packed even on a weekday. But here’s the best thing about this place is the chicken wings. They are the cheapest wings I have seen yet are the best I have had in the country. I saw folks walk in solo just for the wings and bar food. The drinks and beers are wallet-friendly too, They’ve got over tap beers plus shots for when you want to get the party going. In the end , Bunny Jacksons is dive bar at its finest, and I will be back next time I am in Manchester.”

“A real upscale place! Fabulous spacious bar with plenty of seating and large screens, lovely clean room for 3 adults sharing. Not a lot of parking but that was the only complaint. Fabulous breakfast too, even swapped out my egg for black pudding which not everywhere will do. Great and also close to other bars and Horwich centre - about a mile walk to the Bolton Wanderers ground.”

“We came to eat at the cafe last night for my daughter's birthday treat before a stadium tour today. Food was lovely and homemade, staff were so friendly and accommodating. She got a card and balloons and the sweet station was a huge highlight. Really would recommend and will hopefully be back one day.”

Whether on your own for a quick pint or in a big group you will always find someone to chat and laugh along with, as all pubs should be!”

“My friend and I visited John Gilbert on 19th December for lunch. Service was very good (by Casey). Both our meals were very tasty and served lovely and hot. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A nice relaxing ambience. I would definitely recommend this pub both for food and service.”

“Friendly helpful staff. Busy for a Tuesday evening which surprised me, but could be because of the lovely weather. Food lovely and plentiful. Very fast service, didn't have to wait long at all. Such good value. Beer garden been done up since the last time I visited and looks great. Definitely recommend.”
