“Really impressed with Cornerstones Guest House. Ahmed was excellent in communicating the keylock code and instructions. We were able to park the car and walk 15 mins to Sale Metrolink tram stop in Sale. The room was perfect for us (dad and lad) with a double and a single bed. A nice window for fresh air and the shower was hot. We stayed Saturday and went to Old Trafford for the Manchester United match on the Sunday. Would recommend.”

“Lovely place, right next to Heaton Park metro. Only had a brew and a cake but it’s spacious, light and airy, with nice, big booths and a sunny back yard (looks like a good set up for DJ’s too) Coffee was good, sweet stuff was from Silver Apples, so pretty familiar and more than decent quality. Staff were super friendly. Will definitely head back and try some proper food and drinks soon”

“We spent the night here to explore Manchester City and Media City. What a delightful visit. The staff was very pleasant. Good breakfast. The room is cozy and pleasant. Fantastic waterfront close to a hotel, a shopping center, and a media center. You should pay for parking on arrival.”

Only slight thing was the lack of an exit to the car park from the other side of the hotel which meant going back via reception, but I'm really being picky there. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Would absolutely recommend if you need to be in the area.”

“I had a great stay at this hotel before my flight from Manchester Airport. It was super convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. What really made the experience, though, was the excellent service. Faizan, in particular, was fantastic. He handed me my key and was so friendly and approachable, which I really appreciated. As a nervous flyer, his ability to communicate and just talk about things really helped take my mind off my worries and made me feel a lot better about the flight ahead. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near the airport.”

“We needed somewhere to crash for an extended period of time before a flight. The staff here were very helpful when we arrived. We can not fault the guy on the phone and the lady on site for how good they were to us. The room was a lot more spacious than expected and it had the cricket test on the telly. The bed wasn’t amazing, but the room was cheap so we were not expecting the Ritz. We got lunch nearby at San Carlo, which was very close and tasty.”

“Been to Fernhill Hotel twice now and its really good value for money if you need to stay in and around Manchester, you will ideally need a car though as it's situated in a remote farm area, which does mean it is very quiet! The rooms are nice and are a mixture of modern and traditional, the main bedroom and desk are made from wooden and are of an older style, no issue with it though everything functions as needed. The bathroom/shower puts many mainstream hotels to shame, very modern styled bathroom, the shower has great water pressure and even has a heated towel rack, the only minor downside is there is a lack of an area to put toiletries other than the sink. Overall, a great stay and excellent value for money.”

Ann has consistently been extremely helpful and responsive, making the booking process straightforward and stress-free. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly set this guest house apart. The guest house is in a central position in Mobberley village, making it incredibly convenient. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Coop mini market, the local pharmacy, and a bus station with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, and Altrincham. Additionally, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the local pubs, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms and premises are always spotless, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast service is a highlight—the food is cooked to perfection, and the service is attentive and friendly. We’re so fortunate to have such a reliable and high-quality accommodation nearby. “Very decent budget hotel. Can’t fault the location. Right next to the train station. But I parked in a very new looking multi-storey NCP a 2 minute walk away. There’s also a handy Sainsburys Local next to the car park. Fairly standard Express room. But everything was in good order and very clean. Nice big walk-in shower with great water pressure. Breakfast quality was very good for this class of hotel and the 2 ladies running the breakfast service were very friendly and efficient.”

“I stayed at a Travelodge many years ago and it was pretty basic, I remember asking for an extra pillow and the staff disappeared and was never seen again, fast forward to Bolton's Travelodge and it was a totally different experience, the staff where helpful and welcoming, the room was basic but well proportioned and very clean, the bed was comfy. There was a bar and eating area with food on offer. My only niggle was the room was very hot and there is no A/C so had the have the window open, unfortunately it's quite close to a main road and it was like trying to sleep next to a race track, every person within a 20 mile radius that had a sports exhaust and a turbo was racing about till 4 am.”

“If your thinking about staying then I recommend to book book book.. my only fault is that I had to share a bathroom with others, but also for saying it is a busy bar on canal street it was quiet. I had the best sleep ever.. I eas kindly welcomed and also the location is brilliant. Highly recommend and if I'm Inthe area again I'll be staying here”
