“We’ve been looking for a Chinese takeaway to call our favourite and not had much luck with the ones local to us. Found Golden Crown based on a friends recommendation and happy to say we’ve found our new favourite! Bit of a drive but well worth it. We tried the combo for 2 and everything was amazing especially the crispy chicken in OK sauce. 10/10!!”

“The FOH Magda and Jack are amazing and super helpful whenever I need anything. Night FOH need improvement as we’ve only had agency staff recently which impacts service charges and when our actual FOH is here, they aren’t at the front desk. Other than that and a couple of service charge issues, I’ve no complaints! Super nice building to live in with really nice sociable people. Again, Paulina, Donna and day FOH team are amazing and super friendly. They even put on events for us residents here every now and then.”

“My family visited to celebrate both my mother’s and daughter’s birthdays yesterday. We chose the early evening menu and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. What really stood out to us was the fantastic service from our waiter Thomas. He was patient, accommodating and attentive. His colleague Kelsey was also friendly and warm. I don’t usually write reviews but the staff here are fantastic. Small touches like bringing colouring pencils for my daughter and sincere interactions with us made the place feel very welcoming. The food itself was excellent but the staff set a standard that many other restaurants could learn from. We will definitely return!”

“This as got to be the best supermarket the UK as to offer the staff are brilliant! If its quality food that your looking for then this is the place for you! After doing some shopping we got beef and horseradish sauce sandwiches on wholemeal bread absolutely delicious.”

“Wish there was a mocha on the menu because coffee on its own is a little strong for me. I did ask but he said there is hot chocolate usually when I ask they just add some Choco into the coffee drink. Table service seems like a very cute place staff are nice just stood at the front for a bit until we asked to be served and wasn’t sure how it worked, you sit down and the staff come to you. Toilets are on the bottom floor. Open late which is great. Close to tram stop and it was nice to stop by before heading to our next stop.”

I had a chicken madras and chicken bhuna with pilau rice and a very special cucumber and mint raita plus complimentary onion bhajis and onion chutney and poppadoms!! excellent portions left plenty for another meal! thankyou all at Deedar for a great curry !”

“This is our 2nd visit here ( we dont live locally) so our visita are far apart. The food on both occasions was delicious. We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.”

“Drink prices are surprisingly reasonable for a music venue, a major positive that doesn't put a major dent in your wallet. Overall, "Gorilla" holds a special place in my heart after last month's incredible gig. It is hands down one of the best places in the city to catch live music and an absolute must-visit for any music fan.”

“I’ve used this jewellers for a few years to have my wife’s rings cleaned and re coated and can’t fault the care and service provided . The staff are extremely helpful and paul helped me out recently when buying a pre owned watch which he didn’t really have to do but he goes above and beyond for his customers. “I am a frequent customer of meiz and they never disappoint. We love the offers and adore the bottomless menu thats on during the week. Sushi is always well presented, tasty, and are delivered in generous portions. Their other dishes are also very flavourful and and probably the best of what Preston has to offer in terms of Japanese food. Sushi tasty might have the aesthetic down, but their food pales in comparison. Super friendly staff also!”
