“My most favourite shop in the entire north west!! This shop is a gem, it has the loveliest shopkeepers who are so passionate about their vintage wares :-) This is a must visit whenever I’m in Stockport, there’s always something new and the shop goes on forever! You’ll find things you didn’t know you needed but can’t leave without. Pictured is a gorgeous Picture Post magazine I bought! They have a great little collection of these in the centre floors of the shop along with lots of vintage literature, postcards and trinkets!”

“Back in the summer of 2024, I started looking for a company to make uniforms for the charity I’m apart of coordinating. “Came Saturday 3rd December for our Christmas do. We all had food and drinks. It was very busy so our food was miss ordered but once it came it was out of this world. Most of us had loaded fries. Because of the delay we got a discount. The food prices were really reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”

“Pleanty of choice of different type of shoes at a reasonable price. I purchased a pair of black PE trainers and a pair of trainers for the playground for my daughter and paid £32 in total. The shop offers shoes from toddler to adult size and casual to office wear. If you want to stick to a low budget I'd suggest this shop.”

I also had to pop back as I thought I'd lost something and the lady that looked around for it even went onto her hands and knees to see if it had rolled under the shoe rack!”

“Thank goodness for local specialist shops!! Popped into Meeks a few months ago for school shoes for my impossible-to-buy-for daughter. The staff were amazing with her, put her at ease and really took time to fit her perfectly. Unfortunately, due to a manufacturing fault we had to return the shoes for a replacement. The manufacturer have been terrible (avoid Lelli Kelly at all costs!!) but Meeks sorted it out with no problems, they even remembered my daughter and found a suitable pair of shoes without having to try on the whole shop!!! Brilliant, brilliant customer service with a personal touch and a great range of stock to boot ❤️”
