“My late father would buy mithai from the original branch next to Euston train station in London in the 1970s and bring it all the way home to Glasgow. When my brother was born in 1978, he had laddoo sent to Glasgow as well, such is the quality of their products. Ambala has a long tradition in this country and as far as me and my family are concerned, serves the best mithai by a country mile. It isn't too sweet and rich like competitors and the quality is consistent across all their branches. Manchester is our hometown now and this branch is our go-to for all things mithai related. Nowhere else comes close!!”

“My son and I were visiting Fletcher Moss for the first time, and didn't know where to go for food and drinks! Anyway, we decided to go Ye old cock! Well, it turned out to be the perfect choice. Beautiful clean pub with character. Great menu choices. Also, fantastic price deals..a meal and a premium drink each (we chose a Guinness, and a 250ml glass of wine) all for £10!! Great service too. I will definitely go again.”

“Nice atmosphere and good music. There’s quite a few shisha places on wimslow road but this is definitely the best one. Spent 16£ on the shisha and a drink. Shisha was smooth and flavour lasted a few hours. Would go again :)”

Special shoutout to Haris, who was absolutely top-tier. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. “We visited in a family group. The carvery food was basic and straightforward food. It isn't gourmet food but it was tasty, very affordable and generous. The staff were attentive and helpful. Booking is recommended as it is a popular place to eat. I would definitely go again thanks to the affordability factor!”

“This is a lovely pub house with some outdoor tables. It’s so leisure to sit between the green building and a grassland. The fish and chip is perfect and the fried onion is crispy enough. I really enjoyed the chocolate sundae too.”

The food was lovely and we were not rushed to receive the next course. All in all a great experience and we left with full tummies. It was my partners 60th birthday as well and the staff organised a sash and a birthday card finishing it all off nicely with a candle on a mince pie. Thank you to everyone. “Should probably start with other people’s feedback. Firstly a joiner who was doing other work for us said he had never seen a better kitchen and that there are not many companies in the country who build to this quality. Secondly all our friends and family who have visited so far have been amazed by the transformation and without exception say it’s perfect especially for us and how we use the space. From our perspective I only have 2 words First Class!!! The experience has been first class from our first planning meeting with Andrew through the installation process and then the post installation support all led by Gary and supported by the fantastic technicians. The end result has met all my ‘requests’ made during the design process and is better than I could have imagined. It makes me smile every time I walk through the door. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking about getting a kitchen of your dreams”
