“Park on the side street, this place is small with two tables so if you’re coming with a big crew you maybe need to stand up and eat, the music is ok but the volume definitely needs notching down a bit. Me and two friends came and ordered the kings platter which came with dirty fries, wings, chicken breast, zinger burgers and more. The star of the show was the zinger burger and dirty fries which was 9/10 so definitely try them. A lil arcade machine in the corner for your pleasure to reminisce old times. Payment via cash or contactless and they also do milkshakes well. The owner is very passionate about the business and he has a team of ladies working behind and everything seems to work seamlessly. I will go again cuz I enjoyed the zinger burger and dirty fries.”

“Delicious, fresh food! Popped in for lunch with a friend and we were both absolutely made up. The katsu, sushi and ramen were beautiful. We finished with some mochi ice cream for dessert, which was super tasty and nicely presented. The service was quick and friendly too. The new management has definitely made a difference, it’s a big improvement to what the food was like there previously. I’d be stopping by again for sure!”

“This is one of the best pubs in the area. I have been going here on and off since way before it was renovated last time and Julie and her team work hard to make this a fun and welcoming place to go. There is no food but the cost of a pint is reasonable, has live music every weekend, has a small enclosed outdoor area and you are not constantly looking over your shoulder. How often do you hear the words “We have had to shut the front door as we are full” in pubs any more! Keep up the good work Julie.”

“Very pleasant place, air conditioned with attentive staff. My first visit, but would gladly return. Sushi was wonderful, fresh fish, good seasoning, gyōzas not doughy, but lovely and thin. Had to wait for a while for the second innings, but the staff was apologetic and since what followed was excellent we didn't mind. I wish I took some photos, but was too busy eating! Loved it! Thank you.”

“I've had sushi from a few places in Manchester and most have been priced well in excess of Sake. I've eaten from Sake a few times now and each time the sushi has been fresh and flavoursome. The rice is cooked well. Not under or over sticky and prepared just right. I had the 12 piece variety sushi and I had tuna, prawns, mackerel octopus , salmon and a fish I didn't know lol. All very fresh. Was also served with some extras for free. I never comment on food but after so many disappointing sushi bars and restaurants have not met my expectations I think this place deserves a shout out and definitely for me is 5 star for sushi. My son also loves the chicken Ramen soup.”

“That is the most delicious bowl of ramen I've EVER had. I ordered the Lamb Tantanmen and it was incredible. The most delicious meal of any kind I've had in a long time. The packages are very nice amd it's good that you can check the calories of the packs. I recomend it if you look for a quick unexpansive sushi bite in the city centre.”

We can highly recommend their chicken fu yung, chicken in Peking sauce, sweet and sour chicken, BBQ spare ribs, and salt and pepper chips.”

“highly highly recommend the Gyokai ramen. the veg broth is amazing! the Lucky Ramen in Ancoats uses halal chicken for the meat broth but i haven’t asked this takeaway branch yet - do check with them if you want to use meat broth. one of the best ramen places honestly! it’s great that the soups are always packed securely and delivered hot.”
