βReally good park, well kept with a great play area for little ones. Nice to have a tennis court and kick pitch too.β
βWonderful place to stop and enjoy beautiful countryside around you. Facilities were beautifully clean and staff were helpful. Good walks close by, a pub serving meals and a wonderful cafe too .β
βBeautiful park. Great for walking dogs. Clean and tidy. Ice cream and coffee vans frequent.β
βIf you like lake or that kind of water body, This place is a beauty. So serene. We picked some wild blackberries too.β
βLove this park. Great for dogwalking and picnics with grandchildren. Best of all is the ice cream van that visits. The most delicious and creamy soft serve ever. Not overpriced and a lovely woman working in the van. Worth going to the park just to have it.β
βFriendly staff, good wide range of equipment. A great place to let off some steam for the young ones. Our little one is autistic and he loved just walking around freely. I felt he was safe to free roam the whole time we was there. SEN recommendedβ
βThe dude is playing techno music and the woman next to him seems to try hard to focus on her task. We are just chilling here and watching swans play with each other. What a good day βΊοΈβ
βMy experience at Las Iguanas was truly exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The food was incredible β the buritto with steak and chicken was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, and the presentation was beautiful. We can't wait to return to try more! Highly recommended for a wonderful dining experience.β
βLydia was was beautifully hospitable for our late lunch today!! Our food came out quickly, and we were very well taken care of. Definitely a very laid back place for good food where youβre well looked after. I had the caprese salad, and my husband had the chorizo pizza. Both highly recommended!β
βI'd just like to thank you all for making our day, and our first visit, such a pleasant and welcoming experience. Super kind and professional. I didn't get everyone's name but the names of the staff I did get and were super kind, warm and friendly were: Alexa Jake Arleanne Tyler A massive special mention to Aaron the chef as well. Really nice pizza, super friendly service with a smile and went the extra mile to make sure our son has a wonderful time. 11 out of 10 experience. 5***** time.β
βSuch a beautiful and well kept park that we went before and after the pub lunch! Well worth the drive from Manchester City centre. The dog loves it and so does the grown up child who loved a quick go on the swings!β
βLot of really good places is Macc..plenty! Still, The Park Tavern has something special...probably the people in there, maybe some other stuff also...but it's just the Best!β
βAbsolutely love Strinesdale foot paths and 2 large Reservoir's that allow fishing. It also has free parking and is that vast of a space you can walk round it and not bump in to anyone. Strinesdale also has a few picnic areas and amazing views out to the Pennines. There are 3 different routes you can take for that casual stroll or if you are looking to explore of the beat and track you can end up right in the hills and come out at a little farm house. All in all this is one of my favourite places to walk my dog and would recommend it to anyone.β
βI recently had my car repaired by Group 1 Accident Repair Centre and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism and care. They arranged to pick up my car for the repair, which was incredibly convenient. Throughout the process, I was kept informed with regular updates. Once the repairs were completed, they delivered the car back to my home. The whole experience was completely hassle-free. The team was friendly, professional, and clearly committed to providing top-quality service. Thank you, Group 1, for making what could have been a stressful situation so smooth and easy. Highly recommended!β
βWe travelled from Newcastle and stopped at this place for some lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the weather was sunny. The staff were all nice and happy and extremely accommodating. The food was EXCELLENT. The BEST sushi I had and bang bang kara-age. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!β
βFitted our car in even though they were really busy, fixed same day. Will definitely use again. Thanksβ
βMo and Cat are so friendly, they make you feel at ease, they're kind, honest, reliable and will always tell you the best option to go with. No messing about, straight up good dentistry. Thank you so much for looking after me today. Mo, you're the best. xxβ
βEver meandered through Chorlton Park and missed the Tibetan cafe? Well, I finally gave it a go and oh boy, what a joy! Snug by the playground, it's perfect for foodie families, picnic punters, and anyone on the prowl for friendly faces and hearty portions! Tried the sha sha chicken and the momos, both worthy contenders, but it was the cauliflower stir-fry with rice and veggies that stole my heart (and stomach). This humble veggie is transformed into a showstopper so delectable, it might just compel you to write poetry. So, gather the kiddos, nab a sunny spot and get ready for a taste of Tibet that'll have you planning your next visit before you've even left!β
βUsed CCF Manchester a lot this year, Staff always helpful when calling. Debbie is our main contact and has been great!! Goes above & beyond to get our supplies to site, even on short notice.β
βBest park cafe I've ever been to. Coffee is fantastic, my kids love the hot chocolate and the choice of pastries (vegan goodies too) is amazing.β
βBetter than the one in London. You can get up close and it's not in the middle of the road. Really nice place to reflect and pay respect to our heroes.β
βI had a beautiful morning exploring the gardens at Tatton Park. Itβs free for RHS members. But be warned that you need to pay Β£10 to park the car regardless of whether you visit any of the attractions. Thereβs toilets in the courtyard alongside a garden shop, cafe, gift shop, and bookshop. The gardens were looking great as we venture into autumn. Thereβs some beautiful dahlias still flowering and creating a wonderful display. Plenty of ripening apples and pears! Must be a fantastic season this year!! Lots of areas to wander in peace. The grounds are serene and as I was there at 10, there was hardly a soul! So plenty of beautiful photo opportunities!!β
βA well kept public park with a fountain, cafΓ©, bandstand, play area, pond, waterfall, and some sports facilities.β
βWythenshawe Park and Gardens is one of the best green spaces in South Manchester, offering a mix of open fields, formal gardens, woodland walks, and family-friendly facilities. The park is well kept, with plenty of benches, flat paths for walking or cycling, and a relaxed atmosphere. The community farm and horticultural centre add extra interest, especially for younger visitors. Thereβs also a good cafΓ© near the courtyard area, ideal for a quick lunch or coffee. It can get busy during events and weekends, but there's usually space to find a quiet corner. A reliable choice for a free day out with plenty to explore.β
βFishing is absolutely brilliant here.β
βLovely park well maintained by a great group of community volunteers. Lots to do and see gear for dog walks too.β
βPlatt Fields Park is one of my favorite spots in Manchester! Itβs perfect for all ages, with a beautiful lake, open spaces for picnics, and a playground for kids. There are also sports facilities and plenty of peaceful walking paths. A great place to relax and enjoy nature without leaving the city!β
βAbsolutely beautiful park. Very special place for me since the 1960s. Visited for the first time since the late 70s/early 80s since moving out of the area. Heartbreaking what's happened to the buildings and beautiful conservatory etc but so wonderful to see what the various volunteer groups are achieving there, above all giving the Park love and TLC. Thank you.β
βGreat size park with sheep all over it roaming free. Bonfire night is always good here and I believe fishing is good. You see plenty of rabbits and other animals. Would recommend for a short dog walk as it's laid out very well and is easy to follow. Plenty of bins aswell and benchesβ
βNice park near the Stockport station. Has a good number of ducks and swans. Also, you can book for fishing here.β
