“The food is sensational I ordered the king prawn scampi chips and mushy peas extremely fresh and full of flavour the food was delightful and the staff were great too. Very impressed thanks. All the food was good but these chips were something else kudos to the chef”

“I am from Arizona, but I served a Mormon mission here back in 1980 and this was the one place that had the best burgers in the world better than any that I have in America. And so literally I’ve been coming back for 43 years to this same place and same location. Their hamburgers and onion rings are second to none. And the lady that’s been serving us has been there 27 years, that’s crazy. When we bring my kids over and grandkids this is their favorite stop, we purchase takeout and then we walk across the street to the picnic tables and enjoy the best burgers around.”

Paul couldn't have delivered better service. he greeted us warmly on arrival and congratulated us both, which took me by surprise. He even had a birthday card and a congratulations card ready on our table. the service from Paul was attentive and friendly whilst the food was great too. we also took advantage of the tesco vouchers offer for a total bargain. thank you!”

We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.”

“We've recently moved into the area and decided to give this takeaway a try. Absolutely beautiful food, generous size portions, authentic and delicious. The standard is restaurant quality at takeaway prices. In fact, better than some Chinese restaurants I've been to! Love the Szechuan Aubergine!! The owners are lovely, humble and friendly. Chips were not soggy and my grilled chicken burger with double cheese was cooked to perfection. Service was professional and also very welcoming. “I've been here twice, absolutely amazing food both times. The first time I got the Turkish eggs which were amazingly delicious with nice soft bread served alongside. The second time I got a lunch dish, the black garlic gnocchi with artichokes. It was absolutely delicious. I hadn't expected that much flavour from a vegetarian dish but it was mind-blowing from the first bite. Chef Emily and Chef Danny are geniuses in the kitchen, I've never had food so good before! Service was brilliant, my server Grace was so friendly and I didn't have to wait for a seat either time. The restaurant is quite busy because the food is so good, but if you do have to wait it's well worth it. I'll definitely be back for more, the food was worth every penny.”

“Very impressed. Visited on a Sunday and took advantage of the 'Sunday Offer' menu which is £15.95 for two courses. Considering the size and quality of the meals this really is fantastic value. All food was excellent. Special mention to the girls waiting on, who were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.”
