“Small hidden gem, cosy atmosphere. Staff attentive and quick service. We both had burgers, The Smoker & The Texan Show Stopper.....wow. The flavours of both were great, the portion sizes were spot on. Will be back, would reccomend to others.”

“Tucked away in Ashton Under Lyne Indoor Market there is a great FILIPINO FUSION Restraunt. Run by a Mum and Son team dishing up some authentic filipino dishes. We ordered Beef Tapsilog £12 for the dish and a coke to share total was £25 The beef was excellent cooked to perfection included the staple rice , salad and fried egg, TARPS is open 6 days a week 11am to 4.30 pm Monday to Saturday. I've lived in Mossley all my life and only found out about the existence of this place recently, but I'm definitely glad I did. Went back today (my third visit) to find a new menu. Food still of a very good quality, but I preferred the breakfast sandwich that was on the old menu. The crispy potato skins were a strange addition. I'm all for not throwing away food, but they weren't something I'd try again.”

“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”

“Food and Thorn Bistro, led by Nicky and her wonderful team, catered our end-of-year team lunch and delivered directly to our offices in Piccadilly, Manchester. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The quality of the food was fantastic, beautifully presented, incredibly flavourful, and clearly prepared with great care. Every dish not only tasted amazing but looked spectacular, taking our event to the next level and making it a truly special occasion. Nicky was an absolute delight to work with. Her professionalism, warm communication, and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. The delivery and service were exceptional, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We will definitely be choosing the Food and Thorn team again in the future. SUPERSTAR. I have never read any review anyone who would extend themselves to this level of service. NO WORDS. Super cute lay out of furniture /tables/spacing between the tables. Such a nice vibe. Had the mixed meze. STUFFED Talking to KARIM he's planning to open up for brunch hrs 11-10pm.His dedication and his enthusiasm for his business to succeed doesn't go unnoticed. “We have only ever had the take aways when we want to treat ourselves. We have lived in Saddleworth almost 8 years now and we have really struggled to find a decent Indian restaurant, it has always been hit and miss. There was never any consistency, sometimes good, sometimes bad…HOWEVER I think this is by far our favourite place! We keep going back! The poppadoms are always amazing, every single time, not full of oil and greasy tasting, their Lime Pickle is gorgeous and the food is delicious. The lamb chops are a favourite and you can tell there is no cheat, they have been properly marinating in the delicious spices. The tandoori spices must be a family secret, to die for. Most definitely recommend if you want a genuine taste of India. And it is a plus there is minimal plastic waste:)”

“I highly recommend this place for those who eat vegetarian or vegan. The food is delicious, especially the masala dosa, chana masala and poppadoms, and chutney tray. Also, the dessert carrot halwa with ice cream. The staff were friendly, and the dining area as well as the deli area was very impressive. I would come to visit again soon.”

“A lovely cafe with welcoming staff members. They are in the perfect spot for a bite to eat at the end of your walk. They accept cards as well as cash and the prices are reasonable. A Kelly's ice cream on a nice cone was £3. There are toilets too. Parking can be difficult on weekends but we've never struggled in the week”
