“I'm a big fan of sports and leisure centres, and I've been to a few in my time. But I have to say that New Hall Village Sports and Leisure Centre is one of the best I've ever been to. It's got everything you could possibly want in a sports and leisure centre, and more. The facilities are top-notch. There is ample parking available. But what really makes it stand out is the staff. They're all really friendly and helpful, and they're always happy to answer any questions you have. They also make a real effort to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, which is something I really appreciate. Overall, I would highly recommend”

The staff member was incredibly helpful and put together a beautifully coordinated gift complete with complementary cellophane and gift box. I’m so glad I chose to shop local. “Met a friend here last Monday evening for a catch up and some food. What a lovely place and quite busy for a Monday evening. The Lady who looked after us was really nice i think her name was Sarah and she really looked after us. We asked for some recommendations as we didn’t know what to have. Sarah recommended the chicken chorizo flatbread or the fish and chips. We went for one of each and both were outstanding. i would definitely recommend. we will be coming back to the left arms very soon. thank you for looking after us x”

“Canal side pub with good choice of drinks and pub-style food. Staff are very welcoming & friendly, they were very quick with food service, really good to be given such individual service. Food was presented nicely, arrived hot and was tasty - burger with blue cheese & mushrooms was really good. My sister had the steak pie & mash which she said was full of lean tender beef. Her only criticism was the gravy tasted a little like ‘bisto’, if it had been made from the pie filling juices then that would have been more to her taste. Difficult to fault this place, £34 for the meal and drinks for two. Give it a try!”

It has however retained its very friendly atmosphere with a range of superbly kept beers, together with gin and rum cocktails. Its a classic Manchester pub, very well managed and a great place to spend an evening.”

“Had a fantastic time, alot of dcare actors, a great rave, dj and tease with a sexy/horror nun and Billy jigsaw. Its roughly 2km. Not wheelchair accessible. It was great value for money. Not for the faint of heart or claustrophobia. I want to thank every scare actor there!”

There's free parking right outside the door and you are on a retail park with plenty of other shops so there's something for everybody the staff are great in Wilko very helpful and seem to know their stuff. Its great One Stop Shop for all the family for our ages.”

“There's a welcoming atmosphere at Move Urmston. A good variety of classes is on offer. The instructors are very welcomin g and explain how to take part really clearly. The changing facilities are clean and modern. I would say it's really good value for money. I've never used the swimming pool, so can't comment on that, but it looks modern. There's a nice seating area with cafe in the entrance area.”

“Cannot fault Room 35. Lizzy is absolutely fantastic, she has been doing my hair for since about 2008. She is the best hair stylist I have ever had and even though I don't live in Failsworth I have always returned to Room 35. The one time I went else were (for an emergency highlight) it was a disaster, so never again. All the staff are really friendly and have done their up most to protect each other and their clients during the recent pandemic”
