If you’re new to Al Madina, the lamb karahi and chicken karahi are absolute must-tries — both packed with perfectly balanced spices and tender meat that melts in your mouth. The saag here is also excellent, creamy and flavorful without being overpowering. And if you love meat, the lamb chops are simply mouth-watering, grilled to perfection with a smoky, juicy finish that keeps you coming back for more. “I’ve tried Aroma a few times - the food is delicious, fresh and always served piping hot. I tried the tandoori mixed grill, garlic naan, biryani and chicken jalfrezi which were fresh and full of flavour. Portion sizes are always very generous too. Customer service is brilliant and the staff are friendly and always take time to listen to my order carefully. One of the best curries I’ve had and the price is decent too - why go anywhere else? Aroma Wilmslow is now my go to place when I want Indian food. Seriously give it a try - you won’t be disappointed!!!”

“We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. “My late father would buy mithai from the original branch next to Euston train station in London in the 1970s and bring it all the way home to Glasgow. When my brother was born in 1978, he had laddoo sent to Glasgow as well, such is the quality of their products. Ambala has a long tradition in this country and as far as me and my family are concerned, serves the best mithai by a country mile. It isn't too sweet and rich like competitors and the quality is consistent across all their branches. Manchester is our hometown now and this branch is our go-to for all things mithai related. Nowhere else comes close!!”

Best Indian Street food restaurant thi side of the Mersey. We recommand the Tuk Tuk, the lamb, the prawn and the chicken Main... Technically everything we tried so far is excellent...”

“We visited in a family group. The carvery food was basic and straightforward food. It isn't gourmet food but it was tasty, very affordable and generous. The staff were attentive and helpful. Booking is recommended as it is a popular place to eat. I would definitely go again thanks to the affordability factor!”

“If I were to describe Manjaros in a nutshell, I'd say it was Nandos with a twist. There are a few different options from the traditional grilled chicken which are worth trying. The prices are steep, but the portions are very large and you need to have a very large appetite to finish your plate completely! You also get enough seating for large groups as well as proper table service with waiters and everything - something which really sets the experience apart. Look out for the excellent discounts that may pop up from time to time, making this place incredibly good value. If you enjoy this sort of cuisine, I suggest you give it a shot. It's well worth it. Oh, and it can get quite busy so to avoid disappointment make sure you call up and reserve a table before visiting.”

“GREAT service from Leandro and delicious food. The cocktail menu is small but they are accommodating if you want to go off menu! The food exceeded all expectation, we had the calamari to share followed by chicken schnitzel. My only complaint was the waitress didn’t bring side plates or cutlery with the starter. Plenty warm enough sat outside and they even offered us blankets! I highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!”

“Pasha vibes is a shisha bar/restaurant, my family and I just went for the food, it was all delicious, good portion sizes, we actually ordered a bit too much so we ended up taking some home because it was all so nice! Really yummy drinks too. The staff were friendly & helpful. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and most importantly, clean. Recommended.”
