“We are a recent new client to Burford Lane Vets, but know head vet Rachel from a previous practice. Can't praise Rachel and her team highly enough. An independent practice so, costs are very reasonable as opposed to costs imposed by other grouped practices. Common sense advice given too which is very refreshing. Would definitely recommend.”

“We have used the cattery in August and are using again in sept 2024 it is a fantastic cattery well organised exceptionally clean and our cat is very well cared for. He has been on vet prescribed medication daily and Viv just takes over his daily doses with no fuss whatsoever. We wouldn't use any other cattery it has to be the best in Bolton. Gets booked up very very quickly which tells you everything you need to know”

“The best person to leave your dog with! I can’t say enough good things about Debby and how great she has been at looking after my puppy George. He adores her and loves going to doggy day care with her. I know when I drop him off I don’t have to worry and can set off for work rest assured George is going to have an amazing day and be well looked after. After lockdown I was called back into work with short notice and I tried leaving George on his own for a few days for short periods and when seeing how distressed he was I searched for a doggy day care online. After seeing Debby’s reviews I sent an online enquiry and she called me within a few minutes, offered me to pop over there and then to see her house and meet her and now George goes to her five days a week and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. She has a great set-up in her home and garden where everything is secure and I feel like it’s another home for George where he is shown love and affections as well as being able to socialise with other dogs. He gets lots of exercise, playtime and food and I get to pick him up at the end of each day super happy and pretty tired which is perfect for me after a long day in work. Debby is always accommodating and I know she will always make decisions based on what is best for all the dogs to make sure they are happy and safe. I know there are larger set ups for doggy day-care but what I love about Debby’s house is it’s George’s second home and he will only ever be around other dogs that have been vetted by Debby to ensure they can play safely. Debby sends regular updates throughout the day of George having lots of fun and he is so desperate to get to hers in the morning he barely eats breakfast! I really couldn’t recommend a better person to look after your dog! Thank you Debby!”

“Simply the best cattery you can imagine. We visited many potential catteries before choosing Cuddles, some very nice ones, but non came close and we were not disappointed. The facilities are fantastic, the best we viewed, but what really stands Cuddles apart are the two wonderful owners, Gail and Steve. They love cats, have five of their own, the care and affection they show to all their boarders made us feel secure in leaving our two with them for a whole three weeks. They even kept us in touch with photos and videos! Five stars, because you cannot give six, and a huge thank you.”

“Irlam Animal Clinic did a fantastic job looking after our lovely dog Ted. We could always get an appt and the staff are lovely esp the young guy on reception and Joanne the Manager who went above and beyond when he sadly passed away with heartfelt finishing touches. The vets are amazing and do a fantastic job! even in the most difficult of times. They gave us an extra year with Ted which we are forever grateful for.”

“Our dog got attacked and sadly needed to be put to sleep. Vets 4 pets did everything they could to help her but unfortunately the wounds suffered where to severe. We could clearly see the team and Nile care about the wellbeing of animals who end up in their care. They treat our companions in such a humanely manor and therefore I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who has a family animal in need of help. “What an amazing Vets. We were so pleased with the care and treatment our dog Ben received. He is an extremely anxious terrier when it comes to vets, but everyone made Ben feel so welcomed and calmer and he was amazing. He was treated with the utmost care and compassion as if he was their own pet. Every pet that came in was made to feel special. Amazing people. We have only moved to the Wigan area a few months ago, but I am sooo glad we found the right Vetenary Surgery for our Ben. The prices are extremely reasonable too. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.”

Vet was approachable and efficient. Follow up appointment booked there and then with reminder sent to my phone. The bill was a pleasant surprise!”

The lady who helped us was patient, showed us how to care for them and even wsited behind after their opening times so I could go buy some carry cases. “We left 3 cats with them for 10 days while in Cyprus. The cattery was clean, the staff are lovely and the prices are very reasonable especially if you have multiple cats. The cats returned home very well fed, clean and happy. We will use this cattery again for our travels.”

“My little Cavachon Dylan has just had dental surgery. Quoted for 1 tooth removal and scale and polish - ended up with 6 teeth extracted. I was so shocked! However - no extra charge, so I was reassured that it was absolutely required. I was worried sick; as were not exactly wadded! Such a relief and the after care has been exceptional: A thorough explanation on pick up. A follow-up appointment booked. A phone call on the Saturday after surgery... We have Dylan's health plan with Vets for Pets and we used the out of hours prior to his op (thinking he was in pain). Because we saw a nurse ()ovely) and not a vet - so no charge for the reassurance. Best thing I did for Dylan was to register with this practice - they are wonderful with him.”
