She gave us the time we needed and was so caring towards him and explained everything clearly to us. She has also been dealing with our other senior dog in the same caring way. I would also like to mention the staff on the desk - Suze and Lauren (others too but I'm not sure of names) who are a pleasure to deal with and were very sympathetic toward us after losing a big part of the family.”

“I can't thank the staff enough at Vet Care Bolton. Our little dog has had various health issues since we got her but recently she has been having a really difficult period of ill health. The vets are kind and compassionate and as a pet owner I feel listened to. Nothing is too much work and they give brilliant advice. The level of care and compassion shown to this little hamster by the staff at Pets at Home was lovely to see, and little Buddy is a credit to those staff members' hard work. “Great shop for all your essentials for pets. Our Shih Tzus love the AVA Advanced Nutrition kibble for Shih Tzus and the pate in the tin. No issues at all with them refusing to eat which has happened with other brands in the past. They also drink more now as well which is good.”

My husband and I went to Pets at Home Bury to talk to an expert and discuss possible options and in particular what pet would be best for our family. We spoke to a lovely lady on the till who called over her colleague Maddie. Maddie talked us through options, and explained the nature and requirements of Hamsters, also looked to understand more about us as a family, how old the children are, how much activity we do, how much available time we have to properly look after and love a new pet. This was so impressive as clearly she wanted to ensure she advised us enough to help guide our informed decision whilst also having the welfare of the animal at the heart of the decision which is exactly what any ethical and compassionate pet store should do! She was engaging, extremely knowledgeable, clear and just so so lovely to talk to! We actually since talking to Maddie, believe that Guinea Pigs may be a better option for us, particularly because the are nocturnal and our daughter is still young, her bed time would be Hammy's wake up time! We were introduced to the available Guinea Pigs, shown a variety of housing options, Maddie explained the importance of nutrition, play, chew toys and behaviours to watch out for too as the Guineas get older. We are going to reflect in readiness for a joint family decision with Henry and Lils, but for now are just so grateful for the time Maddie spent with us. Finally, the Store Manager Raf was really encouraging about ensuring Maddie was recognised for her efforts - he was keen to encourage this recognition of his team and in my eyes, this is really good leadership! “Outstanding!! I came in yesterday concerned over my pup with constant diarreah. He has just been on antibiotics from the vets but since getting him (now 17 weeks old) he's never had a solid stool and he's on puppy version of my older dogs food.. straight away two amazing staff members came over and gave me some good advice regarding my pup.. recommended this food and nothing was too much trouble.. came home last night, gave django his food and today.. he's had his first solid poo since iv had him. So bloody happy and he's currently bouncing round. So hats off to the staff outstanding advice and highly recommend anyone in a turmoil to pop in to warrington pets at home. Thankyou!!”

“I would not hesitate in recommending this vets. The entire team; reception, nurses, vet and cleaner are all very friendly and helpful. I had a concern regarding my dog, I was given an appointment straight away and after speaking to the vet blood test were recommended. The vet nurse gave me the option to wait if I wanted for the results. Within 25 mins I had the results. Thankfully my dogs results were fine and I cannot thank you enough for the peace of mind you gave me for processing these results so quickly rather than having to wait days.”
