Second visit-26/03. Nipped in for breakfast. It was busy as a big group entered just before us but the wait wasn't too long and its a nice cafe to sit and wait in! We ordered x2 breakfast wraps. They were worth the wait!!!!! Super tasty and a decent size! I've no idea how they wrap them and manage to get it to stay together!!! Great visit, lovely staff and a nice place to eat-in. “What a lovely evening I have just had for my daughter’s 11th birthday family meal. I booked a table online and requested a table near the window which we got and then as a surprise at the end of the meal the chef brought out a cake and the staff sang happy birthday to my daughter which I wasn’t expecting. All the staff were superb. I’m afraid I didn’t catch their names but a blond lady and a tall lad with longer hair looked after us and a female chef. They all deserve massive praise. Constantly checking we were all ok and dealing with my sisters gluten free dietary requirements (she was impressed and happy that you kept everything separate and even more happy she got a carvery with gluten free Yorkshires and gravy!). The food was as expected- pub grub, great quantity and taste. We all left full of happiness and full bellies and that’s all we want from a family outing! So thankyou”

Recently after our new sofa failed we remembered a handsome locally made sofa being displayed at Lot 54 and returned to obtain more info. Daisy was brilliant and discussed a myriad of details over a cuppa - loads of fabric samples offered - a very nice service indeed. We also bought a super chic throw which had a great discount so a total win win. Next time we’ll probably will start our furnishing adventures in this spot. Thank you”

“Lovely, small hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub too, Excellent breakfast. We stayed one night for the standedge tunnel canoe trip. Stayed here on Friday night and then the owner gave us a lift to marsden on sat morning to join the canoe trip. Diggle end of the tunnel is 200m from the hotel. Recommended.”

“Wow. This has to be one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to! It’s located in the Northern Quarter (Manchester) and it’s situated in an urban area. When you walk inside, you are greeted with a calming fountain and a beautiful atmosphere, just as calming as the fountain. You talk to the staff, who are very nice and kind (10/10) and order your drink (if you want). There is also a wide array of affordable food, you can get cakes, chapatis and quesadillas as well. I ordered Karma Cola (sugar-free) which doesn’t taste like any other cola, it tastes better. The cola isn’t too sweet as well, compared to other colas. You explore around the cafe, curiously, and find the Library. Now, this library is the calmest library I’ve ever been to. Shelves are filled with books and the room is painted in an ambient brown, making it feel even more calming. You look around the library, head to toe in a sense of tranquil. No music is played here. It’s very quiet. You leave the cafe satisfied and calm. Overall, you need to try this cafe, it’s great. The staff are nice, it is affordable, drinks are high quality and if you are looking for a cafe where you can study or just relax, this is the right place for you.”

“I go here once a month for The Bowling Green Writers' Group and it is awesome. They have alcohol-free lager on tap, the food is incredible, and the staff are lovely, especially the tall barman in the evenings who goes above and beyond for every customer. There's a great atmosphere and they do live music on Saturdays. Highly recommended as a relaxed, friendly pub. It also has a stunning beer garden!”
