He is engaging with all the children, chatting, splashing them, throwing buckets of water at them. It is him that has made the experience extra fun!”

“Fab leisure centre. Joined a few months back at the start of my pregnancy as wanted to keep fit still. The staff are great especially the young lad on reception, always aware of what’s going on even when he’s with a customer, always opened the access door for me as I was getting a bigger and bigger bump. Lifeguards were always keeping an eye on me when in pool and addressed any issues which made me feel safe and protected of my baby bump. (Baby is now here & can’t wait to be back) My older son also has a kids membership and likes to use the gym. No issue ringing on day and getting him booked in. Not done any classes yet but will definitely be looking into this soon.”

“Everything you need & more, affordable, friendly & welcoming to all shapes & sizes. Staff are lovely & very informative & extremely happy to help even if you have a "stupid" question haha. As a plus size woman, I feel so comfortable to work out & to get back to my pre spinal operation weight. Easy enough to book & cancel sessions, equipment great quality majority is Matrix Gym Equipment. Also with the whole Covid-19 stuff they are following all guidelines which makes me feel safe as I work out. Although it's not overly big there's always something to work on while you wait for something else. I can't currently do anything weight related due to my surgery, & I don't feel pressured by staff that I should be doing that, everything is in my own pace & they understand that which makes me actually LOVE going. Even when I have to miss a few days or recently a week between sessions due to my back pain, staff don't make any comments (like ive had in the past at another gym I've been to). I just want to say a huge thank you to all staff at Radcliffe.”

“We were sceptical about staying at The Hyde venue as we knew it wasn’t as renovated as its local sites such as the Ashton site. Having recently visited to use the swimming facilities we were met by friendly staff so we decided to book an overnight here due to the low costs. Being regulars at sites such as Manchester’s dokota and the midland we naturally had high standards basing our recommendations off google and trip advisor ratings. I can honestly say after meeting Kai and Kiki at the bar they completed our stay. They were so welcoming and genuine honest people who cared to take the time to speak to you despite their clear busy work schedule. Before meeting them the staff were friendly but did the bare minimum. I feel I need to give a special mention to these two individuals because they go above and beyond what is expected and deserve to be recognised by management and higher as they have staff that exceed their pay grade. What they provided was above and beyond what any of the 5* venues we visit in Manchester City centre and we will return on the back of their hospitality alone. I hope this review allows the recognition they deserve, having started my career in hospitality at the age of 15 I know how hard it is to show care and general interest in clients but they do so in an impeccable manner. “Been coming here for a couple of years now. It’s a great setup and has absolutely everything you need with regards to health and well being. That said, what really makes this place shine isn’t the facilities, it’s the great bunch of staff who run the place!! They work tirelessly to pull it all together whether it being front of house to help with my random queries or just to say a pleasant hello or goodbye in passing, the PTs who run RIG; Robert, Jack, Joe, Ben (sorry if I missed anyone else out), and the various other sessions from spin to boxercise. My daughter all attends swimming lessons here too… special thanks to Dan for being a great teacher and so good (and patient!) with Charlotte in her growth and development. “Fabulous place! Staff are so friendly, extremely clean and facilities so so lovely. Lots of machines to use in the gym as well as free weights, pool is always spotless and perfect temperature. All in all a lovely environment. Gym goers are friendly too and helpful, if you're new to the gym! Price of membership definitely worth it for the location and the facilities!”

“Fantastic venue! We used this for the street comp, a stones throw from the bus station and a huge carpark next to the centre it's perfect for the commute by public transport or your own, we had the mini bus outside , it was a brill day and the hall was perfect for what we needed.”

“There's a welcoming atmosphere at Move Urmston. A good variety of classes is on offer. The instructors are very welcomin g and explain how to take part really clearly. The changing facilities are clean and modern. I would say it's really good value for money. I've never used the swimming pool, so can't comment on that, but it looks modern. There's a nice seating area with cafe in the entrance area.”

“Long-standing Chorlton pub and live music venue. Good selection of world and British beers in keg, cask and bottle. Happy hour prices in the week which I think are deliberately 10p cheat a pint than the pub next door. Not exactly glamorous but the decor is pretty interesting. Known for folk music and there is always lots going on in terms of live music and comedy in the upstairs bar.”
