“I'm a 67 year old man who's led an active life playing a variety of sports including training in karate at a basic level. About 6 weeks ago I read an article in which it was said that aikido is a very beneficial martial art for any age and that its techniques place less demands on the body than other forms. In other words a good place for older people who want to take up a martial art. I discovered that my nearest dojo was with Martin Acton Sensei in Dromore, County Down. I got in touch with him to arrange a 1:1 lesson and turned up to the dojo feeling nervous and self conscious. However I found Martin very welcoming and friendly. And over the weeks I have come to value his understanding, patience, knowledge and encouragement as he takes me through the main qualities he's trying to foster and the gentle techniques he's teaching. Unlike my previous experience of martial arts aikido emphasises developing qualities we all need to become better human beings, more loving, more compassionate, more grounded.”

“I was on the Mallorca training camp in May, 2024 with Belpark Triathlon Club and the guys from Primed Coaching. We had an amazing week of swimming, cycling, running and a lot of craic too. The camp was incredibly well organised and run. If you really want to accelerate your training and enjoy a lovely week in the sun then don't hesitate to book. Hotel and food were amazing too and completely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!”

“The pregnancy yoga class at Centred Soul will forever be one of the highlights of my 1st pregnancy. I'm now going to postpartum yoga and loving it. After trying some Yin yoga poses I'm going to sign up to the monthly Yin club. Yoga and cake- that sounds like the perfect evening. Rosemany is the most amazing teacher. Oh and the coffee is unreal here!!!!”

“The gardens and butterfly house are well worth looking at. The house isn't very big, but there's plenty to see. We brought a picnic and supplemented it with tea coffee from the cafe. Sat at the picnic tables amongst the many peacocks and enjoyed the sun. Gardens and maze are beautiful.”

“What an absolutely amazing visit to aquarium. Took our 3 month old granddaughter and here face was an absolute picture she loved the under water tunnel . Great range of all aquatic animals and seeing the baby seals was so cute. A great couple of hours was had very well recommended”
