“I did not purchase any items from the store but this review is purely about the staff, who were friendly and accommodating. My car suffered a puncture and the staff allowed me to wait in the car park until RAC turned up to do the temporary repair, and even though the car park is scheduled to close at 4pm. The manager said they would leave the gate open later until the tyre repair was done. The manager even brought me a cold beverage as I waited, very thoughtful and kind.”

“Raced to argos at 7:50 to retrieve my bargain of an RC car, and despite being the last customer at 7:59pm, the lady at the front desk was still welcoming and kind. 10/10 service, very pleased.”

“Visit this shop 2-3 times a week either to get easy lunch or items needed for work ie tea coffee sugar. The staff are always pleasant and polite. There is enough choice to be convenient if you need things you come to expect from a "corner shop". Shop maybe small but is always well stocked and well organised. A credit to the Premier Shop franchise.”

“We booked a 4D scan with Window to the Womb and had such a positive experience. Our baby was hiding at first, and despite several attempts (including walks in between to try and get baby to move!), the staff were incredibly patient and supportive throughout. They kindly offered us to come back the following week, and after a few more tries we finally managed to see our baby’s face. We are so grateful for their kindness, patience, and care over the two days we spent with them. A wonderful team, thank you!”

“This is such a great shoe shop for children of all ages. The fitting service is better than any other shop I know, and this is based on my experience with my son and now my granddaughter 34 years on! They take time to check how the child walks without shoes first then find a perfect fitting shoe. I would be happy to travel to this shop if we lived a distance away, although we have now moved nearer and pass it every day! There is plenty of parking outside. I would highly recommend this shop. Ladies, you are doing a fantastic job.”

“What an amazing experience. Second time as mother of the groom, shopping at different locations, this one definitely superior. Got full outfit, dress, hat, shoes and handbag. Nothing was too difficult, my lady, whose name I didn’t get went over and above, in my opinion but probably standard for this venue. Said, she loves her job and you can tell! To top it off, I received 15% discount for buying the full package, so essentially, my shoes were free! Would highly recommend this friendly, superior venue for all mothers of the bride and groom.”

“I needed a spare part for my bandsaw and gave these guys a call then went in this morning to pick it up. The place is a little goldmine if you are woodworker. Chatted for a while and got some good advice about bandsaw blades which prompted me to buy one. The guys are knowledgeable and interested in what they do and the trip here from Peterborough was well worth it. They also hold a nice stock of wood turning blanks in many timbers. I shall come again.”
