After discussing a new kitchen with a couple of the large kitchen companies and receiving their design ideas we had been left feeling underwhelmed and with a few concerns. We received a fabulous greeting as though they'd known us for years and the service from that moment on was absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious and we were offered more sandwiches and top ups on the drinks throughout our visit. The whole area was decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was so friendly and fun. “We were extending the kitchen into the garage, so our kitchen had to be designed off plan and was somewhat complex. Imogen at Nolte got the idea very quickly and came up with the best design and mock-up we saw, with a real eye for detail. She could not have been more responsive to our need for minor changes, and for reassurance regarding colours and design, and everything was backed up with full costings and pictures. Once ordered, our Shaker kitchen with a modern twist proved everything we had hoped for and the execution was exactly as promised, plus Imogen went over and above through visits to check up etc. No stone was left unturned, for clients who were probably somewhat particular! Even our builder, who installed the kitchen, was impressed, once he got over the extensive instructions in German (they were in English as well!). All was completed in three months from order to our considerable satisfaction, and Imogen helped us through the hundred little decisions which need to be made through the process with a smile and authentic interest in the outcome. We would recommend Imogen and Nolte without hesitation!”

“I recently visited The Siren Vintage and it’s one of the best vintage shops I’ve been to. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about the pieces they stock. The shop itself is beautifully laid out—just the right mix of organized and eclectic, so you feel like you’re discovering hidden gems as you browse. They have an amazing selection of vintage clothing, accessories, and home decor. I picked up a gorgeous dress, a handbag, a lovely little vase that I know I’ll treasure, as well as a few items that will be birthday or Christmas gifts. The prices were fair, especially for how unique and well-kept everything is. What I loved most was the atmosphere. It’s got such a cozy, nostalgic vibe that makes you want to take your time and soak it all in. If you’re into vintage, sustainable clothing or just looking for something special, this place is 100% worth a visit. I’ll definitely be going back soon - it's a true gem in Stony Stratford!”

“Used Kitchen magician to fully replace my kitchen except for white goods, oven and hob (However, oven and hob was still installed by the team at The Kitchen Magician). From the initial outlay in approaching The Kitchen Magician to the end I very much had a positive experience. Mike excelled himself in providing a professional service allowing me to explain my original concept idea which slowly progressed to the design I later agreed with (which turned out to be completely different and happily so). Based on budget limitations, certain subjects were not shied away from and it was explained where budget could be saved and where it was advised to put additional budget towards within the kitchen design to improve the overall aesthetic and longevity of its overall use. There were small delays along the way, however with each delay I was informed ahead of schedule and was of no consequence. In terms of the team The Kitchen Magician employ, they are fantastic in their work and it is evident with the quality of finish that they take exceptional care and pride in each of their profession. Overall, an amazing company and a happy customer. Will look to use The Kitchen Magician in the future.”

“Rooms are quiet and comfortable, and The Old Vicarage is conveniently located. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked, and very tasty. Hosts are very friendly and did offer an evening meal which can be made to order, but the room I stayed in had a little kitchen area which you could prepare food for yourself if needed.and there are several pubs close by where food is available. There's no TV in the rooms, but that didn't really bother me, I would definitely stay here again.”

“Amazing food, been in Northampton now for just over a year and struggled to find a decent takeaway that we enjoyed, however with here it was great . I had a Adana kofte which was perfectly seasoned but also had great portions . My partner had the vegetarian mousakka and was also delighted. Furthermore when the order arrived the delivery driver was very kind and polite , overall fantastic experience and great food , definitely will be ordering from here again and trying the restaurant post covid.”

“The West End Ivy is an ideal restaurant while out for a show or two. Making reservations on OpenTable guarantees seating. It is so nice to be greeted by a doorman, and the ambiance is classic and refined. Service is impeccable. We opted for standard seating, but next time, I would love to sit at the bar as well. Either are good choices. We chose the Ivy's classic starters and mains, which were excellent. Having ample time, we also chose coffee and dessert. All in all, our dinner was a great evening out.”

“Attentive staff, food was good, atmosphere was great too - I cant wait for them to have live entertainment as I'd return to enjoy that. Staff were knowledgable about the menu. The flavour if the 1/2 chicken was lovely. The coleslaw felt expensive for a small portion (half a cup) that didnt really offer much more (flavour and quality) than a standard/homemade coleslaw. Otherwise, food was perfect. Covid measures - everything was regularly cleaned, there were perspex divides between us and the next table plus outside seating available. Face masks worn by all staff and customers when moving around.”
