“Yummy food, best Chinese we have had in a long time! Hot, delivery didn’t take long at all for a Friday night either. Got quite a few freebies as well due to the amount we brought. Also, please give your delivery driver a raise lol! The sweetest guy, so polite. Would definitely order from here again when we are back in the area.”

“Visiting the area with family, it was a REALLY busy Sunday!! Our waitress Bernie was really efficient and made us feel very welcome. Ordering and service was smooth and seamless, atmosphere in restaurant was nice, its light and nicely decorated with plenty of space between tables, even when super busy we could still hear each other when talking. Food: we ordered Pizzas and Cannelloni with a side salad. Everything came nicely cooked and well presented, I love when you get food exactly as described on the menu. I definitely recommend Pixxa Express if you are shopping at Rushden Lake. Prices are on the higher side but is matched with quality.”

The portions were generous, and the quality was surprisingly good considering the ticket price. ​The Entertainment: After dinner, there was a disco that kept the energy high all night. The music selection was great and perfect for seeing in the New Year. ​Value: Brilliant. In an era where many venues charge triple digits for New Year's Eve, getting a meal and a full night of entertainment for £10 is unheard of. ​Final Verdict ​If you’re looking for a night that offers a fantastic atmosphere without the "holiday markup," this is it. “The food I've always brought from here has been fantastic. The chips are great, cooked just right and are not greasy and they are so tasty. Sausages, battered or normal are great. Onion rings delicious with crispy batter and not greasy. Mushy peas stay hot for ages, and the cod is fantastic. Best thing is, it's only three minutes from door to door. Oh, and the service is good too.”
