“Me and my kids moved to the area August last year, it was really rough with my son in his last nursery, never wanted to go, always screaming, never got comfortable. Untill we attended TJ’s… They’ve been so brilliant with my son and I couldn’t thank them enough for the countless support they’ve given me and my son for the past 10 months, my son is so happy to attend and loves running out and telling me about his day and his friends! Thank you so so much for everything with him, I can’t wait for my daughter to start in January!”

“An utterly beautiful little shop with such a lovely atmosphere that seems out of place in Rushden. If I were more local this would be my go to, as a bag of apples, onions, shallots, carrots and potatoes each was a surprisingly competitive price.. But the quality is something I haven't seen in years! Onions that didn't rot within a day, apples actually crisp and fresh, light and subtle shallots that didn't ruin a reduction and carrots that smelled like carrots - such a weird little thing I hadn't taken into consideration after buying bland supermarket carrots for so long.”

“Very useful convenience store located in the kiosk of Rushden Services. Spotlessly clean. Shelves well stocked, with a limited range of essentials - after all, it's not a full sized supermarket. A little bit pricier than a normal Sainsbury's, but you are paying for convenience. You can not use your Nectar Card here, but you can use your BP Me reward card or app.”

“We eat here quite often because it fits our family budget. Tonight, Sunday 17th August, we met at 6pm and both food and service were extra special. The service from Eleanor was brilliant and it was a pleasure to watch her serving everyone very efficiently and with a cheerful smile. We didn’t get the chef’s name but thanked him personally as everyone’s food was really well prepared. Thank you.”

“First time I ordered.. I did the pickup myself, my order was short of 1 chicken of which I rang them up and told them about it and in few minutes someone was at my doorstep to deliver the remaining one chicken. Food is out of the chains! Very tasty fries, big chickens and lambs. I have no other place to visit for my takeaway fries other than this place. I greatly recommend. Please don't increase your price any further as it would be a turn off for your customers.. Price is still affordable though. Well done!”

“Great place to start your day with a healthy breakfast choice. We had avocado on toast with some red tea which was amazing. Ambience was good too. Unfortunately we did not get a takeawy of hot food.”

“We tried this take away a few weeks ago and were very impressed with the food. My husband loves Sweet & Sour King Prawn balls, so they always get ordered when we have a takeaway and he commented that the ones from here are the best he has had. I must admit I agree. I think we have now found our go to Chinese takeaway. We have tried a few others but this is the best in our opinion. Placed an order again tonight 17.2.24. Tried some other dishes, with Prawn balls of course, once again not disappointed. Will definately keep using.”

“After moving to Rushden in the summer, finding a good Chinese takeaway was a must. We found Dragon City on the second attempt and the food is excellent. It is always delivered quickly and piping hot when it arrives. I am not a fan of sweet and sour chicken as a rule, but their way of dicing it into cubes, before deep frying and stirring through the sweet and sour is fantastic. The black bean sauce is rich, although I would like some more flavour of black bean, and the Chow Mein is delicious. I've tried around 7 or 8 takeaways around Wellingborough and Rushden and this is, in my opinion, pretty good.”
