“Visited French Affaire for a birthday breakfast and it was my first visit. The dishes were delivered to our table quickly and were really tasty. I had an oat flat white which was also very nice! I’d definitely recommend a visit.”
“The food is spectacular. I especially recommend the fish wrap starter and the curried goat main. The cocktails are lovely and good value when 241. They also do a kids menu. The services is very good. We were served by Antony who was very pleasant indeed and he made us feel welcome and relaxed. He spoke to my 3 year old daughter to. Which was nice.”
“Absolutely amazing experience! This Turkish restaurant is a real gem. The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh, authentic and full of flavour. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the Turkish hospitality from the moment you walk in.”
“Had a fantastic dinner here! The mix platter with rice for two was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed the dishes a lot. The service was great too — thank you, Irum, you were the star of the evening! Highly recommended.”
“Clean Halal restaurant. The staff were cautious and friendly. We arrived close to closing time, and we were still welcomed and not rushed. The food was fantastic in taste, and the portion sizes were generous. Food prices are reasonable. One thing that would have been nice would be to have high chairs for toddlers to use. It was quite difficult and messy as toddler struggled on the regular chairs. Overall, I would recommend this place for nice tasting, good price halal dining.”
“Came with familiy and friends for my wifes 40th Birthday. Had an amazing time, great food and well looked after by the team.”
“Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening the gentleman that served us was incredible very polite and friendly. The food was amazing we got the hot mezze for starter and then got the platter for two. The portions were good we even had to take some home.Would recommend this place to family and friends and would definitely go back again.Thank you for a lovely evening.”
“Why have I never been here before!! Such a fun night and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff are fantastic and so helpful, it really was a great experience. The food was delicious and the wait time for a drink is so quick, the whole experience was just great. Well done MK you were all amazing and I would definitely recommend a night here for a large group. Amazing helpful friendly staff and top notch security ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Lovely afternoon tea today! Brilliant selection of sweet and savoury. Tea selection was also great. All good portions and no doubt you’ll find some bits to take home with you to have later on! Service was great, all staff very friendly and approachable. Just a little suggestion, I feel as if the sweet selection could do with a break down on what some of the things are? Such as the gateau opera. There was a gel type liquid in a chocolate shell which we had no idea what it actually was so a little mentioning of what it was in the menu would be nice? Maybe a little booklet explaining what each item is, what flavours etc, make it a bit more interesting as there was other flavours that I would have love to know what was in there.”
“We enjoyed a wonderful 6 course winter tasting menu. Each course was delicious and presented beautifully. In particular, the scallop, venison and rhubarb croissant dessert courses stood out. The latter was unlike anything I have had before and was both spectacular and surprising! In addition to the food, Paris House is very uniquely situated in a deer park, which adds to the ambience. It was wonderful to come up the entrance drive and see the deer in the park. I would highly recommend the restaurant, it's perfect for a special occasion!”
“10/10. Came here with family (all adults but they do have a kids menu) The staff were very very lovely. Popular place but not too noisy. Cannot fault the service. It's incredible how they make such top notch food in such little time. Verrrry rich in flavour, lovely vegetables. They have perfected their cooking. I had the king prawn casserole, which like many of their dishes comes with a side salad and two kinds of rice. Overall, (and my family will agree with me) we are definitely coming again.”
“Great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff. The lady who served us was correct, one portion of Patatas Bravas was enough for two people. Mocktails were very nice as well, and there is parking that's free for 3 hours”
“First time I've ever had a lamb and haloumi (signature lamb burger) and my mind was blown. The mix of flavours and textures was just amazing! My only regret is only staying in town for a single night, so I could only sample one dish. The watermelon mojito and basque cheesecake were a real discovery as well! I still dream about them to this day.”
“Wonderful evening as always. Superb food, excellent service from Ellie, attentive, friendly & not making us feel rushed. Will definitely return & recommend”
“Can't fault it every thing I had was just nice.. just tried it as I was in the area... Table for 1 and staff was lovely. Will definitely be back when I pass through Milton Keynes”
“This large mediterranean restaurant looks a bit sad from outside at the moment. The terrace area appears to be awaiting some sort of refurbishment, so instead of the lively space it usually is, it’s all a bit forlorn. Don’t let that put you off though, the restaurant inside is open for business - a large space with a semi-open kitchen to your left. Visited on a Wednesday evening and seated straight away, the restaurant was moderately busy. Colourful lamps, some big booths to the right. Service was quick and attentive - order for drinks taken (the beer was Peroni, a good choice) and free lavash bread with dips for the table. The menu itself is fulsome, with a good choice of hot and cold mezze to start, including all of the classics. Opted for some Sigar Borek - I love those little tubes of feta and mint. Always a good choice. For a main, I opted for the Sarma Beyti - good sized portion, served with rice, a little bulgar and a side-salad. Weird addition of five pieces of corn into the rice - I hate corn - but with so few, I could pick them out. Food itself was all freshly cooked and delicious, well on a par with some of the best mediterranean dishes I’ve had. The Adana also looked very good - two big skewers of delicious lamb. I would have had that with chips though - I think sometimes you just want chips. In addition to the street entrance the restaurant appeared to have a door onto the little shopping precinct next door, although that all looked a bit lifeless, so perhaps it is no longer open. Overall a good experience and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area - plenty of parking outside, which may even be free after six.”
“What an absolute gem of a place. This is our second visit and once again the service, food and atmosphere was amazing, if I could rate it more than 5 star I would. The staff went above and beyond and made my mum feel so special singing happy birthday to her. They also always had a smile (it goes a long way). Thank you.”
“Calcutta is great Indian restaurant located in a beautiful historic building in the picturesque town of Stony Stratford. We ordered, scallops, king prawns, chicken and lamb. All of which was cooked very nicely and had very nice flavour. Overall considering location, decor, service and food Calcutta Brasserie gets a 5 star rating. Recommended.”
“What can I say, just amazing. Brickhill Bistro truly made our evening fabulous. Nothing was too much for Katherine and the team. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed what was prepared for them. Great tasting and amazing food. Many thanks again for all your effort and food for our evening.”
