“Great little club in Langford. Went over for the Charity Skittles night (fundraiser for Sue Ryder) had a great evening. Club has two rooms and ample space for lots of people. There is a pool room and big screen TV for those that need the footie. There is an outside seating area for the warmer weather. Had a great evening on my first visit and enjoyed the music. They have a few bands in from time to time, check their website for details. Would go back.”

“We visited the Brampton Institute for the first time on Saturday 18th February 2017. We were greeted in a friendly manner, chatted to the regulars who were friendly and had a brilliant night with the 80's disco that was on that night! They have regular performers each month. Drinks were far cheaper than a regular pub so bonus! There is a good size car park at the rear but also parking space on the main High street at the front. They have a room for private functions upstairs which I am considering using for a club meet and were happy to show me round it even at the late hour! You must become a member to go to the club although you are allowed to visit up to 3 times a year before you decide but we shall be joining after our first! All in all a good night!”

“Visited Monks Park Working Men’s Club on a Sunday with a group of friends, and we had a really good time. We joined in with the bingo, entered the raffle, and had a few friendly games of pool — exactly the kind of relaxed afternoon we were after. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was a nice community atmosphere throughout. Drinks were reasonably priced, and it felt like the kind of place where everyone looks out for each other. We’d definitely visit again — and who knows, maybe even become members if we can! A great spot for a laid-back Sunday with friends, assuming one is a member.”

Staff were immediately attentive and were more than happy to help with choice of wine and offering a taste to make sure it’s what we’d like . we were very impressed with the wine, and the price.and the staff. We had Sunday lunch, roast beef for me, turkey for my best friend Jon, we both loved the fact that it was served hot not Luke warm like some places and what everyone expects from a Sunday roast We decided it was the best we’d had in a long time. Service from all the staff was fantastic. We also noticed that the empathy and familiarity with customers who must be regulars was a joy to see and rare in these days. Big shout out to Stanley who was the star of the day with his waiting skills. Thank you”
