“I’m a stress head when it comes to organising parties etc but one thing I didn’t have to worry about was the children being entertained! Danny was fantastic and we had a lively bunch of children! Niall described his Minion balloon as a masterpiece and is pleased that he was able to help a “real magician!” Kids opinions matter, when asked what he would give you out of 10 he said 100! “Chose to ignore the bad reviews and go try for ourselves. Soo glad we did. Great holiday. First holiday as just a couple with our 18 month old. Very quick straightforward check-in. Caravan very clean on arrival, smelled fresh. Nice and warm, heating system easy to use. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the use of the pool. Good free activities on with their tots week for my 18 month old. Soo convenient being able to park outside your caravan. Nice food and drinks at the boathouse restaurant, reasonably priced and free food for kids during the tots break with good options available for them. Shirley-Ann in particular was really helpful and approachable at the bar, but we didn't have any bad interactions, everyone would give you a smile as you went by. Didn't get to see the evening entertainment at the show bar, but there was something on every night. Easy checkout process. First holiday with parkdean and will 100% be coming back.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic stay at California Cliffs — it exceeded all our expectations! From start to finish, it felt like the perfect family escape. Pool & Facilities The park’s swimming facilities were superb. There’s both an indoor and outdoor pool, complete with waterslides and fun features that kept everyone entertained, no matter the weather. Whether we were splashing about outside on a sunny day or enjoying the indoor pool when it was cooler, it never disappointed. Entertainment & Shows The evening entertainment programme was stellar — there was something for all ages. The Trouper Productions shows were full of energy and variety, with themed nights that kept us excited to go back after dinner. We also enjoyed the Park Live acts and street performers throughout our stay. Kids adored the “Milkshake Mornings” with dancing, singing, and crafts, and the Starland Krew appearances were a hit too. Food & Dining Dining options at California Cliffs are excellent. The on-site Boathouse Bar & Restaurant offered a broad menu of family favourites, and the ambiance made dining feel like part of the holiday experience. We also appreciated the takeaway fish & chip options and the convenience of Costa Coffee for quick snacks. Overall Atmosphere & Staff The park has a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout. The staff we encountered were delightful — always helpful and ready with a smile. The grounds, amenities, and communal spaces felt well maintained and inviting. Many previous guests mention the same: “All staff we encountered were lovely and extremely helpful.” Summary If you’re after a holiday where entertainment, comfort, and convenience all come together, California Cliffs is a fantastic choice. Pools, food, shows — they’ve nailed it. We can’t wait to return!”

“Loved Morning Milkshake - Great free family entertainment with super enthusiastic entertainers! My children particularly enjoyed Dylan as he shares my son’s name and the novelty of a male entertainer! As big Paw Patrol fans they loved making Skye masks this morning and then added to them when we got back to the caravan. Thank you! FYI They also love winning competitions. We can’t wait to see more of you guys this week - Louis 5, Dylan 3 and Mae 1 and Mummy and Daddy.”

“We had Ed at our wedding on Saturday, wow he was amazing!! From start to finish, we had so many compliments on having him at our special day. He was so hilarious! With many a how did he do that moments, our guests loved him! Without a seconds thought we would recommend him! If we have another big event we wouldn’t think twice about booking him!! “Amazing! This place is so cool and the staff are lovely! The old penny arcades are so much fun to explore and the perfect mix of old and new. The gift shop is reasonably priced and I would highly recommend this place. It’s top of my list when I return”

“Just got back from an amazing family holiday. Caravan stayed in with a silver with a beautiful balcony, No 36 Swan. Nice and rustic, also had a bath which is rare for a caravan. Lovely and roomy, was a joy to stay in. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable place to put your head down. As for the park, I have been to all 4 in the Great Yarmouth area, although not kitted out as much as the others, this one has hit me and the family as the best and well worth going. Shop on site reasonably priced and other stores near by as well. The only thing that could be better on the park, would be the additon of a soft play but other than that....it was awesome, and no not being paid to say that. Surrounded by nature, peaceful, calm and easy to relax here. I strongly recommend this park. We will definitely be returning next year.”

“Came upon this place while on holiday having a wonder , such a lovely place for kids, free to get in and only 2.50 a ride or less The rides were great and different to the same old ones at the pier etc my 2 year old had a great day , its family owned and really clean and taken care of! Definitely recommend for holiday makers near by , so much better then pier or joy land and better prices and atmosphere”

“The place is so affordable and in such a convenient location. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. Comfy beds and beautiful view out over the water. Charley was especially welcoming. It was lovely coming down for breakfast each morning and the housekeeping in the hotel was lovely”

“Went on whim on Sunday evening (25 May 2025) as a small group of lads (aged 11-51!) and had a great time. The staff (Lea?) was really lovely and a great introduction to the place. I haven't done laser tag in many, many years but this was as great fun as I can remember in an absolutely huge arena. Beware, the blue energiser is impossible to find! The youngest enjoyed it so much he wanted to go back again the next day (26 May) this time with the rest of the family (including two 6 year olds and quite a nervous 9 year old). The place was again absolutely brilliant, telling us when it would be best to come to get the area to ourselves (which we did) and also happily agreeing to let us play with the lights on to help the younger ones. At this point extra special thanks need to go to the lovely young lad who was overseeing our game (Finlay or Finley) - he's a credit to the venue and went absolutely out of his way to make the 9 year old feel comfortable. We managed to persuade her in although she was in floods of tears, Finlay tried everything to make her happy, even singing and dancing! He was so clearly on it that he knew exactly where she was when started feeling more comfortable and brought her a vest and gun. After that we couldn't stop her and she wanted to go straight back in, which we'll have to do next time we're in Yarmouth. Thanks Finlay!”

“I’m just looking through the reviews and I’m a bit flabbergasted by what some people have written. We’ve seen both of our children go to this nursery, with our eldest starting when they very first opened and I can safely say the nursery has been outstanding from day one. We were toured around other nursery’s within the area and this was the only one that gave us a ‘family atmosphere’ and this feeling hasn’t changed 4 years on from when we first walked in! The owners are amazing and it’s clear to see that the nursery is their pride and joy, and that they put everything into ensuring the children have a fun experience, whether it be Easter, Halloween or Christmas, all seasons are made so much fun for the children! Our children have absolutely loved their time at Stay n Play and I wouldn’t ever recommend anywhere else for people to use as a nursery! Some people unfortunately just like to be negative for the sake of being negative! 5 stars everytime!!!”
