“My wife and I have eaten here at least 5 times in the last 6 months and have enjoyed every mouthful. Friends have accompanied us on 3 occasions and have also thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food is excellent, service is very good and prices are reasonable. Couldn't ask for more really. “Lovely gem of a restaurant. We stopped at The Boars by chance while looking for somewhere to eat. We arrived late on Saturday afternoon so there was barely anyone. The food we ordered was very nicely presented and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend it.”

“Great, cheap diner. The embodiment of 'cheap and cheerful', staff were very friendly with a lot of polite banter being thrown between each other and customers. Food was very decent for basic food but the price is very reflective of this, we were more than satisfied that we received value for money. The service was very quick, and all our food (meals for 6) came out at the same time, some variation in the meals too. I can recommend for a meal to fill you up or for a quick bite.”
