“My granddaughter took me for afternoon tea for my birthday. It was super! I especially enjoyed the savouries which were delicious and so much nicer and more interesting than the usual sandwiches and sausage rolls.”
“The wife and I had good things about Cafe Verde and today we decided to give it a go for lunch. We were welcomed with a smile and shown to a vacant table. Our order was taken and indeed delivered in timely fashion. The food was beautifully presented, delicious and well priced. Will we go back? Certainly”
“Brilliant cafe in the heart of Waterloo Park. Staff are very attentive and the food is very good. The decor of the cafe is unusual, especially the sunflowers on the ceiling. It's a great place to unwind after a long walk around the park. I had a fruit scone, which was an 9 out of 10, plus an black coffee, which was again of a high standard and well worth the wait.”
“This is a lovely place to come for a breakfast or lunch. A beautiful historic old railway station converted to a cafe, with the old railway line, (Mario’s Way), visible from the cafe windows at the back. We visited for breakfast, which was cooked well, and well portioned.”
“Great range of food options available. Panini cooked to order. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.”
“Breakfast here today was a truly memorable feast. These ladies provide an excellent menu and friendly service that is second to none in NR3 if not the whole of Norwich. A big breakfast means just that - BIG! Wonderfully cooked and which will set you up for the entire day. Very reasonably priced. Also smaller meals including Vegan. Can't wait to return, despite living 18 miles away!”
“Went in yesterday and received a smile upon entry. The food was so good and fresh. The lady even made a little sandwich for my little boy out of her own way which im grateful for. Good atmosphere and really good food. Highly recommend”
“Very welcoming and friendly proprietor and clientele. Perfect for a quiet morning coffee and chat. Thank you.”
“Had a fantastic time here at Cafe Kitale, Food was great and well priced. Was a clean place also and service was great. Very much enjoyed and would return 5*+”
“First visit in a long time. Didn't disappoint, we had an all day breakfast, all cooked to perfection, meat was very tasty. Will definitely not leave it so long before we revisit”
“Beautiful building inside and out with variety of choices. Staff are very nice and friendly”

“Great little cafe and by the river Biker friendly and gluten free choices ,”
“I had excellent food and very friendly and attentive service at The Cafe Club. The toasted sandwiches are particularly good! It is also great that the products are locally sourced so they are supporting other local businesses too.”
“Came upon this place while on holiday having a wonder , such a lovely place for kids, free to get in and only 2.50 a ride or less The rides were great and different to the same old ones at the pier etc my 2 year old had a great day , its family owned and really clean and taken care of! Definitely recommend for holiday makers near by , so much better then pier or joy land and better prices and atmosphere”
“Always a good place to meet friends for a coffee, sticky bun or more. Friendly, efficient service.”
“Came here for breakfast with the Mrs and my daughter, it was fantastic the food was 10/10 and the portion size was great, the big breakfast was big and very well cooked with good fresh ingredients, the sausages were large and the bacon and eggs cooked exceptionally well. I would highly recommend getting a breakfast here if you are looking for good quality and tasty food. 10/10”
“Lovely little garden out the back, fantastic quality of food for such a small place. Great service and good value.”
“Great customer service Large place Clean toilet Good food”
“This is a little gem! Great food and friendly service. Usually go for the "full English", but occasionally plump for the chips......proper chips, not oven chips, proper chips cooked by Pam! Absolutely fantastic value.”
“Our cheese scones were tasty and very large. The chocolate cake was delicious as was the vegetarian pasty, all washed down with hot flavoursome latte. Heaven on Earth.”
“if you want home cooking, family business, mama/ baba cooking type and flavours, you have come to the right place.Superb food and prices aswell. All cooked on the spot, not frozen.Proper meal!”
“Absolutely amazing food! We had the Special afternoon Tea. The sandwiches were so fresh and delicious. I loved the scones the most! Still warm and perfect. The best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere, beautiful seating, chandeliers and staff are all wonderful. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!”
“What a turnaround for this particular Odeon! Last time I went it was tired, shabby and dirty. Since it’s refurb it’s spotless, beautifully done out and now with the super comfy recliner seats. Excellent value for half term at only £5 per person to go see Casper. Bought a family bundle of snacks which was 1 HUMONGOUS bucket of popcorn, 2 large drinks and 2 kids mixes which cost an exceptionally reasonable £18.99. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, all full of smiles and happy to interact with not just us but all other patrons.”
“Lizzie was very attentive and helpful throughout the night, I had a wonderful birthday meal here and will be returning. I introduced my friends to Bill’s as well and they also loved it!”
“Lovely cafe with a good range well priced. Staff friendly, very helpful and considerate.”
“The food and service we received in this lovely cafe last weekend was fantastic. The food we believe is sourced locally which we loved! The restaurant was very clean as were the toilets. We highly recommend you visit this wonderful cafe, sit by the window such a beautiful view of the church. See you again soon. A definite 5 stars :)”
“If you're looking for somewhere to sit and read your book along with a coffee, or maybe a snack, Cafe W is a great option. There's plenty of space and the staff are very friendly. I spent an hour or so just drinking my coffee and reading, and I didn't feel like I was overstaying my welcome at all. It seemed very family friendly as well, I overheard someone asking about baby changing facilities and the staff directed them towards them. They have toilets, including an accessible bathroom, and the cafe can be accessed via the lift.”
“Been eating here for nearly 10 years I take my daughters in here and they have always been given whatever they asked for even if it's not on the menu. The food is good and reasonably priced, I always have a full English although my wife tends to be a little more adventurous. I don't understand why there's negative comments about this cafe because that's exactly what it is A CAFE not a 4 star Michelin restaurant and it serves good wholesome food that one would expect to find in a cafe, not only that, it's on Anglia square not Newmarket road. Oh, and have you ever heard of anyone visiting a vegetarian cafe and asking for bacon and sausages?”
“Popped in with friends after a long rainy dog walk and had a lovely late lunch and a warm coffee. The food is very reasonably priced and my jacket potato was decent. The cheesy chips and toasties were also great. Nothing fancy just an honest cafe lunch. Loved it.”
